Abstract

The invention is characterised by straps for securing a hat to the ears, the straps being practically invisible but also comfortable or painless, since they have a support (3) made of soft materials in the upper part of the strap behind the ear. The straps are coupled to upper straps (2) having at their ends pieces of thick and flexible material (1) with a point allowing them to be passed through holes or eyelets in the edge of the hat crown or in the band (5) that lines the edge of hat crowns. One of these ends can be rolled up and tied to adjust the size of the strap, thus allowing the lower strap that passes around the ear to be produced with a standard size. The invention is also characterised by a shoulder strap enclosed in a pocket (6) and passing through an eyelet. The pocket (6) can be attached inside the hat and adapted for other purposes, and the ends of the strap attached thereto can be provided with buckles, carabiners and the like, for fastening to other objects.

Description

 HAT WITH HANDLES FOR INSTALLING AND ADJUSTING HANDLES: ONE BUILT IN BAG AND ANOTHER WITH SUPPORT FOR SENSITIVE EARS

 Characterized by hat straps for virtually invisible ears, but with support made of comfortable or harmless material at the top and behind the ear. It is fixed in holes or eyelets by pieces of flexible material, which facilitates the installation, removal and adjustment of the upper handle. Also characterized by shoulder strap embedded in tote bag through eyelets.

Prior Art

In patent applications I filed earlier, I have presented headgear straps to ears made of silicon thread that is virtually invisible and divided into two parts or consisting of an upper strap - which may be the color of hair - and a lower strap. This structure allows to hide the upper strap behind the ear.

 But the ear is very sensitive at the top and back. So you had to be very careful to keep the strap from squeezing your ear. Still, if the hat was put in a slightly different position, it could pull the strap, causing pain after some time of use.

 The installation was done through velcro, which could also cause some discomfort. And because the straps were sewn into the velcro, it was impossible to adjust the size of the upper strap and use the same strap in different positions. Size adjustment was possible only in the lower loop, which surrounds the ear, by means of a knot, which is a little complicated and its production is exclusively handmade.

To carry hats, one had to carry them in bags or hold them by the flaps, which tends to soil them and damage them. Exhibition of the Invention

It is characterized by a strap to attach the hat to the ears with support made of more comfortable materials, such as wide tape and even foam, on the top and behind the ear, which are more sensitive areas.

 As it is practically hidden by the ear and hair, this support can be made of more bulky and colorful materials, but is best done by the color of the skin or hair.

 The bracket also replaces or can be attached to the brackets to secure the wire.

 To better take advantage of the foam's elasticity and prevent it from generating too much volume, it can be lined with more resistant material, just around the eyelets and seams, forming a backing.

 At the very narrow and sensitive top of the ear, this material may be farthest from the edge and the thread may be "threaded" into the foam after being sewn into the support lining.

 Preferably, the support should have devices to engage the upper handle without attachment, such as holes or eyelets, allowing it to be moved to alternate its position and provide better size adjustment conditions.

 This also regulates the distance between the two sides of the upper strap, improving the stability provided to the hat.

 But the support can also be made from just a longer support at the top of the lower handle, as shown in figure 01. Because the upper handle is already made of more comfortable material.

The straps are fitted to the hats by means of at least two holes or eyelets, spaced approximately three centimeters apart, on each side of the crown edge or the ribbon covering the edge of the crown. For hats with no lining at the edge of the crown, a longer top strap must be worn to slip it off the hat and across the opposite eyelets to tie its ends.

 More eyelets can be used to toggle the position of the strap. With the front of the hat placed lower under the forehead, it is more stable if the back of the strap is attached closer to the nape of the head.

 Preferably, the strap is attached to the eyelets by chunks of flexible, thick material attached to their ends. At least one of them has a tip for easy passage through the eyelets. Size adjustment can be done by wrapping and tying the strap in this material.

 The upper handle size adjustment allows the lower handle to be made to standard size or without adjusting devices.

 The straps can also be pulled into the hat and tied together when not intended to be worn.

 The strap for carrying the hat on the shoulder is built into a small bag, also passing through an eyelet.

 Also it should have thick and flexible materials at its ends, which besides being able to pass through the eyelets and regulate the size, can be used to wrap the entire handle when storing it in the bag. By wrapping only part, you can reduce the size of the strap and use it on your hand or arm.

 The bag can be fixed inside the hat, so that the strap is always available.

 This bag can be adapted to fit any handles and wires of electro-electronic equipment, headphones, etc.

The ends of the handles can be attached to buckles, buttons, carabiners or the like that can be attached to other objects that can be hung to be carried. Description of Drawings

Best Way to Make This Invention

To make the upper loop, the ends of a piece of tape (2) of approximately 16 cm are sewn into a strip of thick and flexible material (1), preferably rubberized oxford as it does not fray. After sewing, cut it by making a nozzle.

 To make the support (3) for the sensitive ear area shown in figure 2, a 1.5 x 7 cm tape is used. Melt the edges and place two eyelets: one about 1 cm from the top, leaving 2 cm space between them.

Melt one end of the silicone wire (4). Bend the end top of the ribbon by tightening it and stitching the silicone thread. The other end of the silicone thread is sewn to the lower end of the tape. A knot is made between two stitches of this seam to adjust the size of the lower loop.

 Depending on the strength of the tape, it is necessary to use sturdy reinforcements around the seams.

 To attach the eyelets to the tape that surrounds the canopy edge (5), you need to measure the middle of the canopy edge on both sides of the hat. The first eyelet is in the middle and the second about three centimeters from the first, toward the back. If you want to change the position of the strap, you should place the third eyelet approximately eight centimeters from the first, also at the back.

 The shoulder strap is made of a tape as described above, with pieces of thick and flexible material (1) at the ends, one rectangular and one with a spout, which is passed through the eyelets, inside the bag (6).

 The bag (6) is made of a strip of flexible material approximately 9 x 4 cm. Preferably rubberized nylon as it does not fray. An eyelet is placed in the middle of the strap, stitched elastic on one of the larger sides and folded to sew the bottom and side.

Possibility of Industrial Application

In the manufacture of handles for attaching hats to the ears and in handles for carrying hats and other objects and in the manufacture of hats.

Claims
