그러나, 종래의 TV 및 휴대 단말의 연결을 통한 서비스는 상기한 바와 같이, 단순히 방송 프로그램과 관련된 부가 정보를 제공하기만 할 뿐, TV와 휴대 단말간 상호 작용을 통해 사용자의 번거로운 조작 행위 없이도 사용자가 관심을 가질만한 서비스를 제공하지 못하고 있다.
나아가, 휴대 단말에서 재생되고 있는 컨텐츠를 TV를 통해 시청할 수 있도록 하는 미러링 서비스도 제공되고 있다.
그러나, 종래의 미러링 서비스는 휴대 단말에서 재생되고 있는 영상을 단순히 TV를 통해 출력하기만 할 뿐, 이와 연관된 다른 서비스를 제공하지 못하고 있는 실정이다.
상기한 바와 같은 종래기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 본 발명에서는 휴대 단말과 방송 수신 단말이 무선으로 연결된 상황에서 휴대 단말에서 방송 수신 단말로 전달되는 컨텐츠와 연관된 다양한 서비스에 액세스 할 수 있도록 하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법 및 장치를 제안하고자 한다.
본 발명의 다른 목적들은 하기의 실시예를 통해 당업자에 의해 도출될 수 있을 것이다.
상기한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따르면, 휴대 단말과 연결된 방송 수신 단말과 네트워크를 통해 연결되는 서비스 서버에서 연관 서비스를 제공하는 방법으로서, (a) 상기 방송 수신 단말로부터, 상기 휴대 단말에서 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전달되는 컨텐츠에 대한 관련 정보를 수신하는 단계; (b) 상기 컨텐츠에 대한 관련 정보를 이용하여 상기 전달되는 컨텐츠의 연관 서비스 정보를 추출하는 단계; 및 (c) 상기 추출된 연관 서비스 정보를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법이 제공된다.
상기 연관 서비스 정보는 상기 전달되는 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 추천 컨텐츠 리스트 중 적어도 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 휴대 단말은 화면상에 출력되는 스크린 데이터를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 미러링하며, 상기 컨텐츠에 대한 관련 정보는 상기 방송 수신 단말로 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 캡쳐 이미지 또는 오디오를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 (b) 단계에 선행하여, 상기 캡쳐 이미지 또는 오디오를 분석하여 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 제목, 관련 태그, 인물, 장소, 속성, 장르 및 컬러 중 적어도 하나를 분석하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 (b) 단계는 상기 분석된 결과에 기초하여 상기 연관 서비스 정보를 추출할 수 있다.
상기 방송 수신 단말은 소정 방향 키가 입력되는 경우, 상기 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 추천 컨텐츠 리스트 중 적어도 하나를 위한 인터페이스를 화면상에 출력할 수 있다.
상기 연관 검색 정보를 위한 인터페이스는 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠의 관련 태그 리스트 및 검색어 입력창을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트를 위한 인터페이스는 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관되며 방송 사업자가 제공하는 라이브 프로그램 또는 주문형 프로그램을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 추천 컨텐츠 리스트를 위한 인터페이스는 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관되며 방송 사업자 외의 사업자가 제공하는 컨텐츠를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 추천 컨텐츠 리스트를 위한 각각의 인터페이스는 상기 방향 키에 상응하는 방향에 미리 설정된 투명도를 가지면서 출력될 수 있다.
상기 컨텐츠 관련 정보는 상기 휴대 단말의 사용자가 미리 입력하거나 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대해 미리 등록된 메타데이터를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 (a) 단계에 선행하여, 상기 휴대 단말 및 상기 방송 수신 단말로부터 페어링(pairing) 요청을 수신하는 단계; 상기 페어링 요청에 의해 생성된 패스워드를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송하는 단계; 및 상기 방송 수신 단말이 상기 패스워드를 출력한 이후 상기 휴대 단말로부터 수신되는 패스워드가 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송한 패스워드와 일치하는지 여부를 판단하여 페어링을 완료하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 측면에 따르면, 상기한 방법을 수행하는 프로그램이 기록된 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록매체가 제공된다.
본 발명의 또 다른 측면에 따르면, 휴대 단말과 페어링된 방송 수신 단말과 네트워크를 통해 연결되는 서비스 서버 장치로서, 상기 방송 수신 단말로부터, 상기 휴대 단말에서 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전달되는 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 수신하는 통신부; 및 상기 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 이용하여 상기 전달되는 컨텐츠의 연관 서비스 정보를 추출하는 연관 서비스 추출부를 포함하되, 상기 통신부는 상기 추출된 연관 서비스 정보를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송하는 서비스 서버 장치가 제공된다.
본 발명의 또 다른 측면에 따르면, 휴대 단말과 페어링 연결되며, 서비스 서버와 네트워크를 통해 연결되는 방송 수신 장치로서, 상기 휴대 단말로부터 근거리 통신을 통해 컨텐츠를 전달 받는 근거리 통신부; 사용자의 요청에 따라 상기 전달된 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 포함하는 연관 서비스 정보를 상기 서비스 서버로 전송하고 상기 서비스 서버로부터 상기 전달된 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 서비스 정보를 수신하는 서버 통신부; 상기 서비스 서버로부터 수신된 연관 서비스 정보를 이용하여 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스를 출력하는 인터페이스 출력부를 포함하는 방송 수신 장치가 제공된다.
본 발명에 따르면, 휴대 단말에서 방송 수신 단말로 전달되는 컨텐츠의 분석을 통해 상기한 컨텐츠와 연관된 다양한 서비스를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 연관 컨텐츠 제공 시스템은 서비스 서버(100), 방송 수신 단말(102) 및 휴대 단말(104)을 포함할 수 있다.
서비스 서버(100)와 방송 수신 단말(102) 및 휴대 단말(104)은 네트워크를 통해 연결되며, 여기서 네트워크는 유무선 인터넷망, 이동 통신망 등을 모두 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 서비스 서버(100)는 방송 수신 단말(102) 및 휴대 단말(104)과의 무선 연결을 제어하며, 방송 수신 단말(102)과 휴대 단말(104) 간 연결된 상태에서 휴대 단말(104)로부터 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전달되는 컨텐츠와 연관된 서비스를 제공한다.
본 발명에 따르면, 방송 수신 단말(102)과 휴대 단말(104)간 연결은 페어링(pairing)으로 정의될 수 있으며, 이와 같은 페어링은 Wi-Fi 또는 블루투스와 같은 통신 프로토콜을 기반으로 이루어질 수 있다.
또한, 휴대 단말(104)로부터 방송 수신 단말(102)로의 컨텐츠의 전달은 상기와 같은 페어링 상태에서 휴대 단말(104)의 화면에 대한 스크린 데이터가 프레임 단위로 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전송되는 미러링(mirroring)으로 정의될 수 있다.
이하에서는 방송 수신 단말(102)과 휴대 단말(104)이 Wi-Fi를 기반으로 페어링되며, 서비스 서버(100)가 미러링되고 있는 컨텐츠와 연관된 서비스를 제공하는 것을 중심으로 설명한다.
방송 수신 단말(102)은 방송 사업자가 송출하는 라이브 프로그램 또는 주문형 프로그램을 수신하여 출력하는 셋탑박스 또는 TV일 수 있다. 나아가, 본 발명에 따른 방송 수신 단말(102)은 사용자의 설정에 따라 휴대 단말(104)과 페어링되는 단말일 수 있다.
또한, 휴대 단말(104)은 서비스 서버(100)와 연동할 수 있는 어플리케이션이 설치 및 실행되며, 방송 수신 단말(102)과 페어링될 수 있는 단말로서 이동통신 단말기 및 터치 패드를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따르면, 서비스 서버(100)는 방송 수신 단말(102)과 휴대 단말(104)간 페어링을 제어하며, 이때, 서비스 서버(100)는 인증된 방송 수신 단말(102)과 휴대 단말(104) 사이에서만 페어링될 수 있도록 인증 처리 과정을 수행할 수 있다.
인증 처리 과정은 원 타임 패스워드(One Time Password)를 통해 수행될 수 있으며, 이에 대해서는 하기에서 상세하게 설명될 것이다.
페어링이 완료된 이후, 휴대 단말(104)에서 실행되는 컨텐츠는 방송 수신 단말(102)로 미러링된다.
휴대 단말(104)에서 실행되는 컨텐츠가 방송 수신 단말(102)로 미러링되는 상황에서, 사용자의 요청이 있는 경우 본 발명에 따른 서비스 서버(100)는 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관된 서비스를 제공한다.
연관 서비스의 제공은 휴대 단말(104) 또는 리모트 컨트롤러(미도시)를 통한 연관 서비스 요청에 의해 개시될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 연관 서비스는 미러링되고 있는 컨텐츠와 연관된 검색 서비스, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 제공 서비스, 추천 컨텐츠 리스트 제공 서비스 등을 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 사용자의 연관 서비스 요청 시, 서비스 서버(100)는 방송 수신 단말(102)로부터 현재 미러링되고 있는 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 수신한다.
여기서, 컨텐츠 관련 정보는 컨텐츠가 정지 영상 또는 동영상인 경우 영상의 캡쳐 이미지(단일 프레임) 및 오디오일 수 있다.
서비스 서버(100)는 이미지 분석 및 오디오 분석을 통해 캡쳐 이미지 또는 오디오가 어떠한 컨텐츠인지를 식별하고 이에 상응하는 연관 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.
이에 한정됨이 없이, 휴대 단말(104)은 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 메타데이터를 방송 수신 단말(102)로 함께 전송할 수 있으며, 이때 서비스 서버(100)로 전송되는 컨텐츠 관련 정보는 상기한 메타데이터일 수 있다.
메타데이터는 미러링되는 컨텐츠가 방송 프로그램인 경우, 제목, 주인공, 줄거리 등을 포함할 수 있으며, 개인 영상(예를 들어, 결혼 동영상, 게임 영상, 여행 사진 등)인 경우 사용자가 입력한 영상에 대한 태그 정보(영상 주제, 장소 등)를 포함할 수 있다.
방송 수신 단말(102)은 휴대 단말(104)이 제공하는 메타데이터를 서비스 서버(100)로 전송하며, 서비스 서버(100)는 메타데이터와 연관된 서비스를 제공한다.
바람직하게, 서비스 서버(100)는 휴대 단말(104)로부터 메타데이터를 수신할 수도 있다.
본 발명에 따른 서비스 서버(100)는 연관 서비스 제공 시, 방송 수신 단말(102)로 이미지/오디오 분석 또는 메타데이터를 통해 추출된 키워드, 방송 프로그램 리스트, 연관 컨텐츠 리스트 등을 포함하는 연관 서비스 정보를 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전송한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 연관 서비스 제공을 위해 방송 수신 단말이 출력하는 인터페이스의 예시 화면을 도시한 도면이다.
도 2에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 방송 수신 단말(102)은 연관 서비스 정보를 수신하여 사용자의 소정의 방향 키 선택이 있는 경우 선택된 방향 키에 상응하는 인터페이스를 출력할 수 있다.
이하에서는 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 서비스 서버(100), 방송 수신 단말(102) 및 휴대 단말(104)의 구성을 상세하게 살펴본다.

도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 서비스 서버(100)는 통신부(300), 인증 처리부(302) 및 컨텐츠 분석부(304) 및 연관 서비스 추출부(306)를 포함할 수 있다.
통신부(300)는 방송 수신 단말(102) 및 휴대 단말(104)로부터 페어링 요청을 수신하며, 인증 처리부(302)는 페어링 요청 수신 시 방송 수신 단말(102)과 휴대 단말(104)간 인증 절차를 수행한다.
도 4는 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 페어링을 위한 인증 절차를 도시한 도면이다.
도 4를 참조하면, 사용자는 휴대 단말(104)을 통해 본 발명에 따른 서비스 서버(100)와의 연결을 위한 어플리케이션을 실행시킨다(단계 400). 어플리케이션 실행 이후, 휴대 단말(104)은 자신이 접속한 Wi-Fi와 동일한 네트워크에 속하는 방송 수신 단말을 검색하여 출력한다(단계 402).
도 4에서 방송 수신 단말은 셋탑박스(SetTop Box: STB)인 것으로 가정한다.
사용자는 휴대 단말(104)에서 출력된 방송 수신 단말 중 하나를 선택하여 페어링을 요청하며(단계 404), 페어링 요청이 서비스 서버(100)로 전송된다(단계 406).
상기한 페어링 요청에는 방송 수신 단말에 대한 식별 정보(예를 들어, MAC address)가 포함될 수 있다.
한편, 휴대 단말(102)과의 페어링을 위해 사용자는 방송 수신 단말(102) 상에서 서비스 서버(100)와의 연결을 위한 기능을 실행하며(단계 408), 이후 방송 수신 단말(102)은 다른 주변 휴대 단말 추가를 위한 인터페이스를 출력한다(단계 410).
사용자가 주변 휴대 단말 추가를 선택하는 경우, 방송 수신 단말(102)은 서비스 서버(100)로 페어링 요청을 전송한다(단계 412).
본 발명에 따른 인증 처리부(302)는 인증 처리를 위한 패스워드를 생성한다. 바람직하게 패스워드를 소정 시간 주기로 랜덤하게 생성되는 원 타임 패스워드(One Time Password)일 수 있다.
생성된 패스워드는 통신부(300)를 통해 휴대 단말(104)이 선택한 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전송되며(단계 414), 방송 수신 단말(102)은 수신된 패스워드를 출력한다(단계 416).
사용자가 방송 수신 단말(102)이 출력한 패스워드를 확인하고 휴대 단말(104)에 패스워드를 입력하는 경우(단계 418), 휴대 단말(104)에 입력된 패스워드는 서비스 서버(100)로 전송된다(단계 420).
서비스 서버(100)의 인증 처리부(302)는 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전송한 패스워드와 휴대 단말(104)로부터 수신한 패스워드가 일치하는지 여부를 판단하여 패스워드가 일치하는 경우 서비스 서버(100)는 방송 수신 단말(102)과 휴대 단말(104)로 인증 완료 메시지를 전송하여 페어링을 완료한다(단계 422).
페어링이 완료 이후, 휴대 단말(104)에서 출력되는 스크린 데이터가 방송 수신 단말(102)로 미러링된다(단계 424).
다시 도 3을 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 컨텐츠 분석부(304)는 리모트 컨트롤러 등을 통해 사용자가 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 서비스를 요청하는 경우, 방송 수신 단말(102)로부터 전송된 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 관련 정보를 분석한다.
여기서, 컨텐츠 관련 정보는 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 캡쳐 이미지 또는 오디오일 수 있다.
컨텐츠 분석부(304)는 다양한 이미지 및 오디오를 저장하고 있는 데이터베이스(미도시)와 연동하여 상기한 캡쳐 이미지 또는 오디오에 상응하는 컨텐츠를 식별한다.
여기서, 컨텐츠 분석부(304)에 의해 현재 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 제목, 관련 태그, 인물, 장소(도시, 해변, 국가, 지역 등), 속성(영화, 방송 프로그램, 뮤직 비디오 등), 장르 및 컬러를 분석할 수 있다.
컨텐츠 분석부(304)에 의한 식별 과정은 통상의 동영상 검색 엔진으로 구현될 수 있으며, 이는 통상의 기술자에게 널리 알려진 것이므로 이에 대한 상세한 설명은 생략한다.
연관 서비스 추출부(306)는 컨텐츠 분석부(304)의 분석 결과에 기초하여 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 상응하는 연관 서비스를 추출한다.
상기한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 연관 서비스는 미러링되고 있는 컨텐츠와 연관된 검색 서비스, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 제공 서비스, 연관 컨텐츠 리스트 제공 서비스 등을 포함할 수 있다.
연관 서비스 추출부(306)는 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관된 관련 태그 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 연관 컨텐츠 리스트를 추출하고, 추출된 연관 서비스 정보는 통신부(300)를 통해 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전송된다.
연관 서비스 추출부(306)는 방송 프로그램에 대한 스케줄 정보(EPG)를 참조하여 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트를 추출할 수 있으며, OTT(Over The Top) 사업자와 같은 인터넷을 통해 서비스하는 제3의 사업자들과 연동하여 연관 컨텐츠 리스트를 추출할 수 있다.
방송 수신 단말(102)은 서비스 서버(100)로부터 수신된 연관 서비스 정보를 이용하여 사용자가 현재 미러링되고 있는 컨텐츠와 연관된 서비스에 액세스할 수 있도록 한다.
상기에서는 연관 서비스 추출부(306)가 컨텐츠 분석부(304)에 의해 분석 결과를 이용하여 연관 서비스를 추출하는 것으로 설명하였으나, 방송 수신 단말(102) 또는 휴대 단말(104)은 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 메타데이터를 컨텐츠 관련 정보로서 서비스 서버(100)로 전송할 수 있으며, 이러한 경우 컨텐츠 분석 과정 없이 연관 서비스 추출부(306)가 메타데이터를 이용하여 연관 서비스 추출 과정을 수행할 수도 있을 것이다.
한편, 상기에서는 서비스 서버(100)에서 미러링되는 컨텐츠를 식별하고, 이에 상응하는 연관 서비스 정보를 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전송하는 것으로 설명하였다.
그러나, 이에 한정됨이 없이 서비스 서버(100)와는 독립된 컨텐츠 분석 서버에서 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 분석이 수행될 수 있으며, 컨텐츠 분석 서버에 의해 분석된 결과(미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 제목, 관련 태그, 인물, 장소, 속성, 장르 및 컬러 정보 등)가 방송 수신 단말(102)로 전송되고, 방송 수신 단말(102)이 수신된 정보를 표시할 수도 있을 것이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 방송 수신 단말의 상세 구성을 도시한 도면이다.
도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 방송 수신 단말(102)은 서버 통신부(500), 근거리 통신부(502), 키 신호 수신부(504), 인터페이스 출력부(506) 및 제어부(508)를 포함할 수 있다.
서버 통신부(500)는 초기 페어링 과정에서, 페어링 요청을 서비스 서버(100)로 전송하고, 서비스 서버(100)로부터 패스워드를 수신한다.
또한 서버 통신부(500)는 페어링이 완료된 이후, 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 서비스 요청을 서비스 서버(100)로 전송하고, 서비스 서버(100)로부터 연관 서비스 정보를 수신한다.
근거리 통신부(502)는 휴대 단말(104)과 연결을 설정하는 것으로서, Wi-Fi와 같은 무선랜 통신 모듈일 수 있으며, 페어링된 휴대 단말(104)이 전송하는 스크린 데이터를 수신한다.
키 신호 수신부(504)는 리모트 컨트롤러(미도시)로부터 수신되는 키 신호를 수신한다.
연관 서비스 요청에 상응하는 키 신호가 입력되는 경우(도 4의 OK키), 서버 통신부(500)는 서버 통신부(100)로 연관 서비스 요청을 전송하고, 서비스 서버(100)로부터 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 서비스 정보를 수신한다.
인터페이스 출력부(506)는 연관 서비스 정보 수신 이후, 사용자가 입력하는 키 신호 상응하는 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스를 출력한다.
본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따르면, 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스는 소정 방향 키 조작만으로 출력될 수 있다.
예를 들어, 본 발명에 따른 연관 서비스는 4방향 키를 이용하여 제공될 수 있으며, 상부 방향 키 선택이 있는 경우 인터페이스 출력부(506)는 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 연관된 태그(키워드) 리스트가 표시되며 사용자의 검색어 입력창을 포함하는 인터페이스(600)를 출력한다.
한편, 좌측 방향 키 선택이 있는 경우, 인터페이스 출력부(506)는 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 연관된 방송 프로그램 리스트(602)를 출력한다.
여기서, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트는 방송 사업자에 의해 소정 채널로 제공되는 라이브(live) 프로그램 및 주문형 프로그램(VOD)을 포함할 수 있다.
우측 방향 키 선택이 있는 경우, 인터페이스 출력부(506)는 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관된 추천 컨텐츠 리스트(604)를 출력한다.
본 발명에서 추천 컨텐츠는 OTT 사업자와 같이 방송 사업자가 아닌 사업자가 인터넷을 통해 제공하는 컨텐츠로 정의될 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 추천 컨텐츠는 사용자가 시청할 수 있는 컨텐츠뿐만 아니라, 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관된 상품 관련 정보를 포함할 수 있으며, 이러한 경우 사용자는 추천 컨텐츠 리스트에서 원하는 상품을 선택하여 구매할 수도 있을 것이다.
하부 방향 키 선택이 있는 경우, 인터페이스 출력부(506)는 사용자가 미리 등록한 컨텐츠 리스트(찜 보관함, 606)를 출력한다.
미리 등록한 컨텐츠는 사용자가 선호하는 것으로 등록한 컨텐츠일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 각 인터페이스는 화면 상에 인식 가능한 상태로 투명하게 4방향 중 하나에 표시될 수 있다.
보다 상세하게, 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스는 사용자가 입력한 방향 키에 상응하는 방향에 미리 설정된 투명도를 가지면서 출력될 수 있다.
제어부(508)는 방송 수신 단말(102)의 인증 요청, 패스워드 출력 및 연관 서비스 처리 과정을 제어한다.
예를 들어, 사용자가 연관 태그 중 하나를 선택하거나 검색어를 입력하여 검색을 요청하는 경우 제어부(508)는 서비스 서버(100)에 검색을 요청하고, 검색 결과가 화면상에 표시되도록 제어한다.
이러한 검색 과정은 서비스 서버(100)가 아닌 별도의 검색 서버에서 수행될 수 있다는 점은 당업자에게 있어 자명할 것이다.
또한, 제어부(508)는 방송 수신 단말(102)에 포함된 튜너 및 디코더를 제어하여 사용자가 선택한 연관 방송 프로그램을 시청할 수 있도록 한다.
나아가 제어부(508)는 사용자의 추천 컨텐츠 선택이 있는 경우 서비스 서버(100) 또는 별도의 컨텐츠 서버로부터 추천 컨텐츠를 수신하여 화면상에 표시되도록 제어한다.
상기한 도 6은 미러링되는 컨텐츠가 뮤직 비디오인 경우의 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스를 도시한 것이다.
도 7은 미러링되는 컨텐츠가 게임인 경우 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스를 도시한 도면이다.
이처럼 미러링되는 컨텐츠가 방송을 통해 제공되지 않는 휴대 단말용 게임인 경우에도 컨텐츠 분석부(304)를 통해 미러링되는 컨텐츠를 식별할 수 있으며, 사용자가 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대해 복잡한 조작 과정 없이도 이에 상응하는 검색, 연관 방송 프로그램 및 추천 컨텐츠에 액세스 할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있다.
한편, 도 8은 미러링되는 컨텐츠가 여행 사진인 경우 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스를 도시한 도면이고, 도 9는 미러링되는 컨텐츠가 결혼 사진인 경우 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스를 도시한 도면이다.
도 8 내지 도 9에 도시된 바와 같이, 미러링되는 컨텐츠가 방송 사업자 또는 OTT 사업자를 통해 제공되지 않는 개인 영상(사진)인 경우에도 마찬가지로 캡쳐 이미지 분석 과정을 통해 개인 영상(사진)이 어떠한 속성을 가진 것인지를 식별할 수 있으며, 사용자가 이에 상응하는 다양한 연관 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 한다.
도 10은 본 발명에 따른 휴대 단말의 상세 구성을 도시한 도면이다.
도 10에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 휴대 단말(104)은 서버 통신부(1000), 근거리 통신부(1002), 입력부(1004), 출력부(1006), 설정부(1008), 메모리(1010) 및 제어부(1012)를 포함할 수 있다.
서버 통신부(1000)는 초기 페어링 과정에서, 페어링 요청을 서비스 서버(100)로 전송하고, 방송 수신 단말(102)에 표시된 패스워드 입력 시, 입력된 패스워드를 서비스 서버(100)로 전송한다.
근거리 통신부(1002)는 근거리에 위치한 방송 수신 단말(102)을 검색하고 Wi-Fi와 같은 무선랜 통신 모듈일 수 있으며, 페어링된 방송 수신 단말(102)로 현재 실행되고 있는 컨텐츠에 대한 스크린 데이터를 전송한다.
입력부(1004)는 사용자로부터 해당 휴대 단말(104)을 제어하기 위한 제어 명령, 어플리케이션을 실행시키기 위한 명령 등을 입력받기 위한 수단이다. 예를 들어, 입력부(1004)는 적어도 하나의 키 버튼으로 구현될 수도 있으며, 터치 패널의 형태로 구현될 수도 있다.
출력부(1006)는 다양한 데이터를 시각 정보의 형태로 표출하기 위한 수단이다. 예를 들어, 출력부(1006)는 액정화면일 수 있다.
본 명세서에서는 입력부(1004)와 출력부(1006)가 각각 독립적인 구성 요소로 휴대 단말(110)에 구비된 것을 가정하여 설명하고 있으나, 입력부(1004) 및 출력부(1006)는 터치스크린(미도시)과 같이 하나의 구성 요소로 구비될 수도 있음은 당연하다.
설정부(1008)는 제어부(1012)의 제어에 따라 해당 휴대 단말(104)과 페어링된 방송 수신 단말(102)에 관한 정보를 설정/저장하기 위한 수단이다. 이외에도, 설정부(1008)는 휴대 단말(104)의 스크린 데이터를 방송 수신 단말(102)로 미러링하기 위해 필요한 다양한 정보들을 설정/관리할 수 있다.
메모리(1010)는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 휴대 단말(110)을 운용하기 위해 필요한 다양한 어플리케이션을 저장한다.
제어부(1012)는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 휴대 단말(104)의 내부 구성 요소들을 제어하기 위한 수단이다.
본 발명의 실시예들은 다양한 컴퓨터 수단을 통하여 수행될 수 있는 프로그램 명령 형태로 구현되어 컴퓨터 판독 가능 매체에 기록될 수 있다. 상기 컴퓨터 판독 가능 매체는 프로그램 명령, 데이터 파일, 데이터 구조 등을 단독으로 또는 조합하여 포함할 수 있다. 상기 매체에 기록되는 프로그램 명령은 본 발명을 위하여 특별히 설계되고 구성된 것들이거나 컴퓨터 소프트웨어 당업자에게 공지되어 사용 가능한 것일 수도 있다. 컴퓨터 판독 가능 기록 매체의 예에는 하드 디스크, 플로피 디스크 및 자기 테이프와 같은 자기 매체(magnetic media), CD-ROM, DVD와 같은 광기록 매체(optical media), 플롭티컬 디스크(floptical disk)와 같은 자기-광 매체(magneto-optical), 및 롬(ROM), 램(RAM), 플래시 메모리 등과 같은 프로그램 명령의 예에는 컴파일러에 의해 만들어지는 것과 같은 기계어 코드뿐만 아니라 인터프리터 등을 사용해서 컴퓨터에 의해서 실행될 수 있는 고급 언어 코드를 포함한다. 상기된 하드웨어 장치는 본 발명의 일 실시예들의 동작을 수행하기 위해 적어도 하나의 소프트웨어 모듈로서 작동하도록 구성될 수 있으며, 그 역도 마찬가지이다.
이상과 같이 본 발명에서는 구체적인 구성 요소 등과 같은 특정 사항들과 한정된 실시예 및 도면에 의해 설명되었으나 이는 본 발명의 보다 전반적인 이해를 돕기 위해서 제공된 것일 뿐, 본 발명은 상기의 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 본 발명이 속하는 분야에서 통상적인 지식을 가진 자라면 이러한 기재로부터 다양한 수정 및 변형이 가능하다. 따라서, 본 발명의 사상은 설명된 실시예에 국한되어 정해져서는 아니되며, 후술하는 특허청구범위뿐 아니라 이 특허청구범위와 균등하거나 등가적 변형이 있는 모든 것들은 본 발명 사상의 범주에 속한다고 할 것이다.

Claims (16)

  1. 휴대 단말과 연결된 방송 수신 단말과 네트워크를 통해 연결되는 서비스 서버에서 연관 서비스를 제공하는 방법으로서,
    (a) 상기 방송 수신 단말로부터, 상기 휴대 단말에서 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전달되는 컨텐츠에 대한 관련 정보를 수신하는 단계;
    (b) 상기 컨텐츠에 대한 관련 정보를 이용하여 상기 전달되는 컨텐츠의 연관 서비스 정보를 추출하는 단계; 및
    (c) 상기 추출된 연관 서비스 정보를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 연관 서비스 정보는 상기 전달되는 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트, 추천 컨텐츠 리스트 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 휴대 단말은 화면상에 출력되는 스크린 데이터를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 미러링하며,
    상기 컨텐츠에 대한 관련 정보는 상기 방송 수신 단말로 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 캡쳐 이미지 또는 오디오를 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 (b) 단계에 선행하여, 상기 캡쳐 이미지 또는 오디오를 분석하여 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대한 제목, 관련 태그, 인물, 장소, 속성, 장르 및 컬러 중 적어도 하나를 분석하는 단계를 포함하되,
    상기 (b) 단계는 상기 분석된 결과에 기초하여 상기 연관 서비스 정보를 추출하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  5. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 방송 수신 단말은 소정 방향 키가 입력되는 경우, 상기 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 추천 컨텐츠 리스트 중 적어도 하나를 위한 인터페이스를 화면상에 출력하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 연관 검색 정보를 위한 인터페이스는 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠의 관련 태그 리스트 및 검색어 입력창을 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  7. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트를 위한 인터페이스는 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관되며 방송 사업자가 제공하는 라이브 프로그램 또는 주문형 프로그램을 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  8. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 추천 컨텐츠 리스트를 위한 인터페이스는 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠와 연관되며 방송 사업자 외의 사업자가 제공하는 컨텐츠를 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  9. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 추천 컨텐츠 리스트를 위한 각각의 인터페이스는 상기 방향 키에 상응하는 방향에 미리 설정된 투명도를 가지면서 출력되는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 컨텐츠 관련 정보는 상기 휴대 단말의 사용자가 미리 입력하거나 상기 미러링되는 컨텐츠에 대해 미리 등록된 메타데이터를 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 (a) 단계에 선행하여,
    상기 휴대 단말 및 상기 방송 수신 단말로부터 페어링(pairing) 요청을 수신하는 단계;
    상기 페어링 요청에 의해 생성된 패스워드를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송하는 단계; 및
    상기 방송 수신 단말이 상기 패스워드를 출력한 이후 상기 휴대 단말로부터 수신되는 패스워드가 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송한 패스워드와 일치하는지 여부를 판단하여 페어링을 완료하는 단계를 더 포함하는 연관 서비스 제공 방법.
  12. 제1항에 따른 방법을 수행하는 프로그램이 기록된 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록매체.
  13. 휴대 단말과 페어링된 방송 수신 단말과 네트워크를 통해 연결되는 서비스 서버 장치로서,
    상기 방송 수신 단말로부터, 상기 휴대 단말에서 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전달되는 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 수신하는 통신부; 및
    상기 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 이용하여 상기 전달되는 컨텐츠의 연관 서비스 정보를 추출하는 연관 서비스 추출부를 포함하되,
    상기 통신부는 상기 추출된 연관 서비스 정보를 상기 방송 수신 단말로 전송하는 서비스 서버 장치.
  14. 휴대 단말과 페어링 연결되며, 서비스 서버와 네트워크를 통해 연결되는 방송 수신 장치로서,
    상기 휴대 단말로부터 근거리 통신을 통해 컨텐츠를 전달 받는 근거리 통신부;
    사용자의 요청에 따라 상기 전달된 컨텐츠 관련 정보를 포함하는 연관 서비스 정보를 상기 서비스 서버로 전송하고 상기 서비스 서버로부터 상기 전달된 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 서비스 정보를 수신하는 서버 통신부;
    상기 서비스 서버로부터 수신된 연관 서비스 정보를 이용하여 연관 서비스 이용을 위한 인터페이스를 출력하는 인터페이스 출력부를 포함하는 방송 수신 장치.
  15. 제14항에 있어서,
    상기 연관 서비스 정보는 상기 전달되는 컨텐츠에 대한 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트, 추천 컨텐츠 리스트 중 적어도 하나를 포함하며,
    상기 인터페이스 출력부는 사용자의 소정 방향 키가 입력되는 경우, 상기 연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 추천 컨텐츠 리스트 중 적어도 하나를 위한 인터페이스를 상기 입력된 방향 키에 상응하는 방향에 출력하는 방송 수신 장치.
  16. 제15항에 있어서,
    상기 인터페이스 출력부는,
    연관 검색 정보, 연관 방송 프로그램 리스트 및 추천 컨텐츠 리스트를 위한 각각의 인터페이스를 상기 방향 키에 상응하는 방향에 미리 설정된 투명도 출력하는 방송 수신 장치.
