Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fusion de matière métallique (S) dans une installation de fusion comprenant au moins un four électrique (11), qui comporte au moins une cuve (13) dans laquelle ladite matière métallique est introduite, et des moyens d'alimentation (12) permettant de charger la matière métallique (S) dans la cuve (13). Le procédé comporte au moins les étapes consistant à charger la matière métallique (S) dans la cuve (13) par l'intermédiaire des moyens d'alimentation (12), à fondre la matière métallique (S) et à couler ultérieurement la matière métallique fondue.
