Abstract

The invention relates to a projection display that operates in a multi-channel manner to reflect an image to be displayed into the view of an occupant of a means of transportation. By means of this approach the construction size can be reduced, because the focal lengths of the optical units of the individual channels can be significantly smaller, which in turn also enables a weight reduction of the system. Because of the multi-channel nature, the susceptibility of the projection display to curvatures of the reflection surface is also reduced, which relieves the burden on the corrective measures and thus can reduce the installation scope and/or the quality of the reflected image. The reflection can also be adapted in a simple manner to the current situation of the occupant of the means of transportation.
