Abstract

Cette invention concerne un système, un support d'enregistrement, et des procédés associés pour générer un maillage à partir d'une image. Le procédé comprend le traitement d'une conversion parallèle image-à-maillage en temps réel à l'aide d'un algorithme (PI2M) pour traiter une image; le système étant conçu pour traiter l'image sans prétraitement d'extraction de surface. Le procédé comprend la récupération des limites d'une image et la génération de maillages par l'intermédiaire d'une séquence d'insertion et de suppression dynamique de points façon Delaunay. L'image peut être une image médicale tridimensionnelle. Le système mettant en œuvre le procédé selon l'invention peut être conçu pour traiter des images dans le cadre d'au moins une opération parmi une analyse d'éléments finis, une simulation, une interpolation, une vision sur ordinateur, ou la robotique.
