Description

System for facilitated telephone dialing and connection of telephone subscribers through module-directory and voice recognition module
Area of technology
The present invention is related to telecommunications and more particularly to a system that facilitates phone dialing and connection of telephone subscribers through module-directory and voice recognition module. It could be applied to all subscribers of digital and mobile telephones.
Former state of the equipment
Initially the systems for dialing and connection were managed by humans. Known also as an operator, that person has carried out the connection between telephone subscribers (telephones) by physically connecting the phone line between them. Due to the fast development of telephone communications the number of telephone subscribers (telephones) has significantly increased. That resulted in problems such as: slow and wrong connection of telephone subscribers (telephones), as well as to significant increase in the number of operators connecting subscribers. These problems found their solution as operators were replaced by machines - telephone exchanges(pbx). The telephone exchanges(pbx) operation principle had not changed drastically, namely the connection of a telephone subscriber (telephone) with another. With the development of computer networks, non-public telephone networks and telephone exchanges(pbx) for offices, enterprises, etc. began to be established and operated, using for connection with their subscribers a computer network and even the global network Internet, which in fact is the largest computer network. Non-public telephone networks and exchanges serve private interests and services and are not obliged to be public or be connected with public telephone networks and exchanges. As a prerequisite for the operation of any telephone exchange is each telephone subscriber (telephone) to have a phone number (digital number), with which it is identified. The connection is implemented as the dialing subscriber (telephone) connects to the telephone exchange(pbx) and enters the phone number of the searched subscriber (telephone). If the subscriber (telephone) to receive the incoming call is not already connected to another subscriber (telephone), then the telephone exchange(pbx) connects it with the dialing subscriber (telephone). With the rapid development of digital technology the telephone exchanges(pbx) were also developed, becoming smaller, more efficient, faster, and especially they exclude any mechanics in their content. Also telephone subscribers (telephones) were advancing by becoming mobile. I.e. the connection between telephone subscribers (telephones) and telephone exchange(pbx) can also be wireless - mobile, radio mobile or to use a computer wireless network, even Local Computer Network or Internet. That leads to repeated, enormous increase of the number of telephone subscribers (telephones). Therefore, the number of digits forming the telephone number is increased. To avoid this constant increase, the so called regional telephone codes and codes of the telephone operator were introduced (the National Numbering Plans have been implemented). With the introduction of these codes, the telephone subscribers (telephones) are divided respectively by geographical region or telephone operator to which the respective subscriber (telephone) is connected. Usually the division of telephone subscribers (telephones) by code of a telephone operator is the practice of the mobile telephone operators.
Dividing by code of a geographical region of the telephone subscribers (telephones) is the practice of all telephone operators using hard-wired connection to connect their subscribers (telephones). In spite of this division of the telephone numbers of the subscribers (telephones) with the implementing of these codes, the inability of one to remember even a small number of telephone numbers of telephone subscribers (telephones) that he is interested in cannot be avoided. This is one of the reasons the telephone numbers of telephone subscribers (telephones) of great public importance to be as short as possible and easy to be remembered. For example the telephone numbers of: Police: 166; Fire department: 160; Emergency aid: 150, etc. With the exception of these telephone numbers and taking into consideration that every person has many different contacts and desires to have such, the well-known telephone directory is created. That directory is a random collection of telephone numbers of subscribers (telephones) and their names (physical or legal). The telephone directories could be private or public. The private telephone directories contain names and the respective telephone numbers that are known only to the owner of the directory. That private list (private telephone directory) could be made in hardcopy or electronic form. For convenience and as it is almost constantly required the personal telephone directory has imposed its electronic place in the mobile phones. The public telephone directory though contains significantly more telephone numbers, which makes its presence in a mobile phone impossible due to its limited memory capacity. Another reason is the constant changing or adding of numbers of subscribers to the public telephone directory. That imposes the need of such public telephone directories in electronic form to be available via the global electronic network - Internet, provided that the mobile operators want the telephone numbers of their subscribers to be in the public domain.
A serious disadvantage is the fact that this type of telephone directories is not part of the common system for connecting the telephone subscribers. That impedes and complicates finding and connection of one telephone subscriber (telephone) with another. Another disadvantage is the fact that there is no logical connection between the name of the subscriber (telephone) to connect with and its telephone number - there is no symbol number-code that provides a logical connection between the signal entered by the dialing telephone subscriber, by means of module-directory, to the commutator - the telephone exchange(pbx), in the form of symbol number-code of random length and order. There is no option to use a module-directory in the device for telephone communication (telephone device) of the dialing telephone subscriber, that is intended to show the symbol number-code, represented it by means of letters and symbols as a name on the graphic display of the device for telephone communication of the dialing telephone subscriber, thereby facilitating the entering of the symbol number-code to the telephone commutator-telephone exchange(pbx). Other disadvantages are as follows, there is no option to use a positioning module in the device for telephone communication of the dialing telephone subscriber, which would be a part of the module-directory and is intended to decipher text or graphic messages, sent through the telephone commutator of the ARU System to it, such as geographic coordinates and to show them on a geographical map on the graphic display of the device for telephone communication of the dialing telephone subscriber. There is no option to use a voice recognition module, which would be a part of the module-directory of the device for telephone communication (telephone device) of the dialing telephone subscriber, as that voice recognition module is intended to control the module-directory and to control the search in the database of the module-directory, using voice (voice) submitted to it trough the microphone of the device for telephone communication (telephone device) of the dialing telephone subscriber, which significantly facilitates the user of the dialing telephone subscriber by providing a possibility for more convenient and faster operation of the module-directory than the operation through the buttons and keyboard of the device for telephone communication (telephone device). There is no option in the system for easier telephone dialing and connecting telephone subscribers through a module- directory and voice recognition module, which provides telephone access to a multitude of telephone subscribers through at least one incoming telephone line that unites them. Technical characteristics of the present invention
The task of the present invention is to create a system for facilitated telephone dialing and connection of telephone subscribers through a module - directory and voice recognition module. It logically connects to a telephone number with the name of a telephone subscriber through a module - directory and through a symbol number-code.
These and other problems are solved by a system for facilitated telephone dialing and connection of telephone subscribers through a module-directory and a voice recognition module containing at least one Automatic Response Unit phone system (ARU system) which can be performed by a telephone commutator - automatic telephone exchange(pbx), at least on device for telephone communication of a dialing (dialing) phone subscriber, at least one device for telephone communication of a called (dialed) subscriber, at least one device for telephone communication of the Automatic Response Telephone Module System with a system for telephone connection, a module-directory and a symbol number-code.
Here the connection systems are at least one mobile cell telephone network of at least one public telephone operator and at least one cable, private telephone network of a non-public telephone operator. The connection system (network) of the non-public - private telephone operator could be mobile-cell or combined - stationary-cable and mobile-cell and radio frequency and satellite in different variations. The connection system (the network) of the non-public - private telephone operator as well as the public one could be established on a computer network base (VOIP; SIP) or using Internet, Global or Local network.
The telephone communication devices might be both for cable telephone network and mobile cell telephone network: stationary telephone devices, "voip" telephone devices, gateways, mobile telephone devices, mobile gateway, mobile and stationary computer telephone modems, satellite telephones, "voip" computer module in the role of a phone device.
VOIP telephone device is a telephone apparatus using computer local/global network through an IP (internet protocol).
VOIP/SIP communication computer module is a programme product functioning as a telephone apparatus using computer local/global network through an IP (internet protocol).
Here the Automatic Response Unit phone system (ARU System) could be connected with or part of public telephone exchange(pbx) and is an electronic calculation machine or a programme product with the characteristics of a telephone commutator (automatic telephone exchange(pbx)) where the separate modules and devices could be part of computer systems connected in-between.
ARU System consists of at least one telephone communication device with one telephone connection system - mobile cell telephone network of a public telephone operator and at least with one telephone communication device with one telephone connection system - cable, public telephone network and at least with one telephone communication device with one telephone connection system - cable, mobile or combined, non-public private telephone network.
ARU System consists of at least one IVR System / Interactive Voice Response System, software controlling the database and at least one database being a pseudonym telephone directory. The database in the form of a pseudonym telephone directory could be installed in a separate computer system that might increase the effectiveness and security of the general system for facilitated dialing and connection to telephone subscribers through a module - directory and a voice recognition module. The Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) can be installed in a separate computer system that might increase the effectiveness and security of the general system for facilitated dialing and connection to telephone subscribers through a module - directory and a voice recognition module. That separation is possible because ARY System could operate with separate modules of its system even if they are installed in separate computer systems.
Here the database is a pseudonym telephone directory in which the names of telephone subscribers (telephones) are logically connected to their (public and non public) telephone numbers. This logical connection is represented by a symbol number - code. In the database the pseudonym telephone directory at least one symbol number - code is registered and a subscriber's telephone number (public or non public) corresponding to it.
Here the symbol number - code is a combination of undefined number and sequence of digits ending with a certain symbol, for example # for quick operation and precision. This logical connection allows the presentation of one name written and represented by the module-directory of the system, through digits - symbol number - code. The symbol number - code should consist of at least one digit and end with a certain symbol, for example #. The symbol number - code is registered through the module - directory of the system by the telephone communication device of the dialing telephone subscriber to ARU System or to a telephone commutator -telephone exchange(pbx) which is either public or connected with a public one. In this way there is connection of name of the telephone subscriber (telephone) in the module directory in the system in the telephone communication device of the dialing telephone subscriber with the number - code in the database - pseudonym directory telephone number corresponding to its name. In order the easy dialing system and connection to telephone subscribers to operate through a module directory and a voice recognition module it is necessary to have at least one symbol number - code and a corresponding to it telephone number of a subscriber (telephone) in the database - pseudonym telephone directory and the database of the module directory there should be entered at least one name of a called subscriber and symbol number - code corresponding to it.
Here the directory - module of the system is hard disk that could be presented by an integrated circuit or a programme product, additionally installed in the device for telephone communication (telephone apparatus) of a dialing subscriber. The module -directory contains a database with the names of the called subscribers and the symbol number-codes corresponding to them. The module directory of the system is to some extend similar to ordinary telephone directory, however in the module-directory there are no telephone numbers registered but only digits and symbols (symbol number-codes) as well as it is designed only for operation in the general system and all entries in the database of the module-directory are preliminary established and cannot be changed, added or deleted by the end, dialing user of the system through the telephone communication device (telephone device).
Here the voice recognition module is hard disk that could be presented by an integrated circuit or a programme product and it is part of (located in) the module-directory. The voice recognition module operates as an IVR System / Interactive Voice Response System; however, it controls the module directory and controls the search in the database of the module-directory by voice (voice) sent through a microphone of the device for telephone communication (telephone apparatus) of the dialing telephone subscriber. The voice recognition module serves as an alternative and provides the opportunity for easier and quicker operation of the searching user with the module directory compared to the operation with buttons and the keypad of the telephone communication device (telephone apparatus).
The IVR System / Interactive Voice Response System/ is an interactive technology that enables computer configuration or a module of telephone commutator (automatic telephone exchange(pbx)) to report voice and sound signal of telephone keypad input. This technology is widely used in telecommunications as it provides its users the opportunity to reach, use and manage computer resources, like database for instance, by using telephone keypad or voice.
Here, IVR is set to work so as to enable connection between the database modules, representing pseudonym telephone directory and the ARU System devices for telephone communication. Thus, upon connection of a device for telephone communication of a subscriber dialing to the ARU System, the IVR system automatically enables the connection of the dialing subscriber's device for telephone communication to the pseudonym telephone directory's database and through a symbol number-code given by a module - the system directory installed in the device for telephone communication of the dialing subscriber gets connected through the ARU System' s device for telephone communication with the dialed device for telephone communication of a telephone subscriber (telephone).
Upon another performance version, the module-directory of the device for telephone communication of the dialing subscriber is connected to positioning module, which is to decipher text or graphic messages sent to it through ARU System's telephone commutator as geographic coordinates and to display them on the geographic map on the graphic display of the device for telephone communications of the dialing subscriber.
The advantages of the present invention are that the system for facilitated telephone dialing and connection of telephone subscribers through a module - directory and voice recognition module becomes a part of the common telephone system for connection, which makes finding and connecting a dialing telephone subscriber (telephone) to another telephone subscriber simpler and easier. There is a logical connection between the user name of the dialed (upon connecting) telephone subscriber (telephone) and its telephone number - there is symbol number-code, which provides the logical connection between the signal, input by the dialing telephone subscriber, through module directory, to the telephone commutator - telephone exchange(pbx), as a symbol number-code of random length and order. There is an option to use module-directory in the device for telephone communication (telephone device) of the dialing telephone subscriber, which is to display the symbol number-code, representing it through letters and characters as a name on the graphic display of the device for telephone communications of the dialing telephone subscriber and thus, to facilitate the input of the symbol number-code by the user to the telephone commutator - telephone exchange(pbx). Yet another advantage is that there exists the possibility of using a positioning module in the device for telephone communication of the dialing telephone subscriber, which forms part of the module-telephone directory and which aims at deciphering text and graphic messages, sent by means of the telephone commutator of the ARU System, such as geographical coordinates, and at showing them on a geographical map on the display of the device for telephone communication of the dialing telephone subscriber. There exists the possibility of using a voice recognition module, which is part of a module-telephone directory in the device for telephone communication (the telephone) of the dialing subscriber and this module for voice recognition is to control the module-telephone directory and the search in the database of the module-telephone directory using sound (voice) that gets through to it through the microphone of the device for telephone communication (the telephone) of the dialing subscriber, which substantially facilitates the user of the dialing telephone subscriber by allowing him to operate in a more convenient and rapid fashion with the module-telephone directory than when he is using the buttons and keypad of the device for telephone communication (the telephone). Alternatively, the system for facilitated telephone dialing and getting through of telephone subscribers by means of a module-telephone directory and a voice recognition module may give telephone access to a host of telephone subscribers through at least one telephone line that has a unifying function.
