LABEL DISPLAY HOLDER

Technical Field:

This invention relates to a Label Display Holder, particularly a removable registration label display holder. Prior art:

Registration labels are often glued to the mounting plate or in case of a vehicle, the glass window or carried by vehicle owner in the vehicle. Glueing of the registration label requires lot of work which includes cleaning, scraping of the glue from mounting plate/glass window, some instances damaging the glass window surface. It consumes lot of time and effort. Registration carried with the owner or carried in the vehicle also has disadvantages. First of all traffic authority do not get to view valid registration straight away and need to request to view the registration or gets lost in handling.

The Object of the Invention

The object of the invention is to provide a better alternative to existing application of display.

Another object of the invention is to provide a simple, cheap, effective, reusable registration label holder to display number of labels for many years to come with only one time application of label holder to the glass window from inside of the vehicle. Registration label is laminated for the protection, hardness, long lasting and proper display. New registration label is simply inserted into the label holder with no time wasted.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide a label holder where number of registration labels can be accumulated and removed when not needed. In simple when old registration is expired user of the vehicle obtains new registration and simply inserts new label into the already attached label holder.

The Summary of the invention:

Invention label holder comprises a pocket to hold a registration label, having an open top for easy label insertion.

Three side edges of the label holder which consist of adhesive material to glue label holder on the glass window from the inside of the vehicle. Three side edges of the label holder with adhesive are covered by paper liner, which to be peel off before applying label holder to the glass window of the vehicle.

The pocket of the label holder is of such a size that laminated registration label is just made to fit into the label holder with little clearance. Narrow pocket top opening of the label holder is made to prevent unintentional removal of the registration label.

Vehicle registration label display holder has a vertical narrow cut at the mid bottom edge of the pocket wall which is useful in getting old label/s out when needed by simply pushing upward by the new label. The registration label holder is preferably made from the elasticized plastic/rubber, however other materials can also be used. Registration labels are made from the printable paper and laminated with the plastic, however other materias can also be used.

Vehicle registration label holder can be made in different shapes, size, look and design, same applies to registration label.

Although the present description describes the invention with reference to a vehicle registration, it canbe very easily be used in other settings, for example; patient identification labels besides the hospital beds, attendee identification and reservation counters at conferences, and for passengers in airplanes etc.

Figure 1 is a front view of one of the vehicle registration label display holder.

Figure 2 is a front view of one of the registration label.

Detail Description of the Invention:

As shown in figure 1 the pocket has a closing at the bottom where registration label as shown in figure 2 rests at the base of the pocket.

The label holder has a narrow vertical cut 1 at the mid bottom edge of the pocket wall 2 which helps to get old label/s out by simply pushing upward by the use of the new registration label.

Figure 1 shows three side edges 4 which consist of adhesive material covered by paper liner. Paper liner is peeled off before applying label holder on the vehicle glass window for the display of the registration label for the traffic authority to view.

Since many possible embodiments may be made of the invention without departing from the scope thereof, it is to be understood that all matter herein set forth or shown in the accompanying drawings is to be interpreted as illustrative of applications of the principles of this invention, and not in a limiting sense.

Claims

I claim:

1. A label display holder comprising a pocket having a closed bottom and an open top for insertion of the label, three side edges of one side of the pocket have adhesive material covered by peelable paper liner, said paper liner is peeled off before applying label holder on the required surface.

2. A label display holder as claimed in claim 1, wherein one side of the pocket is made of transparent material and the same side is applied to the vehicle glass window from inside of the vehicle for the display of the registration label for the traffic authority to view.

3. A label display holder as claimed in claim 1 or 2, where in the pocket is of such a size that laminated label is made to fit with just little clearance inside the label holder.

4. A label display holder as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the pocket is of such design that, replacement of the old labels is convenient with no time wasted.

5. A label display holder as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein the pocket is made of elasticized plastic or other suitable material.

6. A label for the label holder of any of the preceding claims may be made of printable paper laminated in plastic or may be made of other suitable material.

7. A label display holder as claimed in any of the preceding claims, wherein display holder has a vertical cut at the mid bottom edge of the pocket wall which facilitates in getting old label/s out when needed by simply pushing upward with an insertion.

8. A label display holder as claimed in any of one of the previous claims where in the label holder has a pocket which holds the registration label/s precisely for traffic authority to view when needed.

9. A vehicle registration label display holder as claimed in claim 8 and registration labels can be made in different shapes and design.

10. A label display holder and a label substantially described as here in with reference to figures 1 and 2 of the accompanying drawings.
