Abstract

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de post-combustion (1) qui permet d'augmenter le rendement thermique et de réduire l'émission de polluants dans un équipement de combustion ou des dispositifs de chauffage à bois (19) ayant une chambre de combustion ou chambre primaire (22) pour brûler du bois (21), générant ainsi des gaz de combustion (17). Ledit dispositif de post-combustion (1) comporte : une pluralité de couches (2) constituées par des particules solides qui génèrent un milieu poreux, ladite pluralité de couches (2) de particules solides qui génèrent ledit milieu poreux étant contenues dans un récipient interne (5). Le récipient interne (5) possède au moins une ouverture inférieure permettant le passage des gaz entrants (6) qui ont déjà été brûlés dans la chambre de combustion ou la chambre primaire (22), et au moins une ouverture supérieure permettant le passage des gaz d'échappement (7) qui ont déjà été brûlés dans le dispositif de post-combustion (1). Le récipient interne (5) est entouré par un conduit tubulaire (10) créant un espace annulaire (16) entre la paroi externe (18) dudit récipient interne (5) et le conduit tubulaire (10), ledit espace annulaire (16) ayant une partie annulaire inférieure (11), pour l'entrée des gaz de combustion (17), et, sur la partie supérieure de l'espace annulaire (16), une soupape d'arrêt des gaz (12) qui est manipulée par des moyens de régulation (13). Sur la partie supérieure de l'espace annulaire (16) se trouve un capuchon conique (14) auquel est relié le conduit des gaz d'échappement (15).
