Abstract

 本発明はユーザの手動によるフォーカス操作を安易にすることを目的とする。本発明は瞳分割方式の撮像素子の第1及び第2の画素群からそれぞれ出力された第1の画像及び第2の画像に基づいてスプリットイメージ61を生成する画像生成手段と、スプリットイメージ61における第1の画像と第2の画像との境界であるスプリットライン63の位置をスプリットライン63と直交する方向Vにおいて変更する境界変更手段と、境界変更手段により変更されたスプリットライン63で分割されるスプリットイメージ61内の複数の分割領域のそれぞれにおいて、第1の画像及び第2の画像のいずれかを選択する選択手段と、境界変更手段によって前記境界の位置が変更されたスプリットイメージ61を表示手段に表示させる表示制御手段と、を備えた。
