Abstract

　本発明はユーザの手動によるフォーカス操作を安易にすることを目的とする。本発明は瞳分割方式の撮像素子の第１及び第２の画素群からそれぞれ出力された第１の画像及び第２の画像に基づいてスプリットイメージ６１を生成する画像生成手段と、スプリットイメージ６１における第１の画像と第２の画像との境界であるスプリットライン６３の位置をスプリットライン６３と直交する方向Ｖにおいて変更する境界変更手段と、境界変更手段により変更されたスプリットライン６３で分割されるスプリットイメージ６１内の複数の分割領域のそれぞれにおいて、第１の画像及び第２の画像のいずれかを選択する選択手段と、境界変更手段によって前記境界の位置が変更されたスプリットイメージ６１を表示手段に表示させる表示制御手段と、を備えた。
