Definitions
- the present invention relates to a coke dry fire extinguishing equipment.
- the iron making process starts with a iron making process in which iron is reduced from iron ore (iron oxide) with coke that has been steamed and hardened from coal.
- Coke dry fire extinguishing equipment (CDQ: Coke Dry Quenching) is a facility that cools reddish coke steamed in a coke oven and generates high-temperature and high-pressure steam using the recovered heat.
- the generated steam is generally used as electric power or process steam for steel production.
- the conventional CDQ is composed of two heat exchangers, a chamber CB and a boiler BO.
- reddish coke Co is cooled by using an inert gas (a gas containing nitrogen as a main component and containing CO 2 , H 2 O, a small amount of CO, H 2, etc.) as a circulating cooling gas. It is.
- the chamber CB and the boiler BO are connected to the primary dust catcher PD via the first duct Fd and further connected to the boiler BO via the second duct Sd.
- the boiler BO is connected to the secondary dust catcher SD via the third duct Td, is connected to the chamber CB via the gas blower GB, and the third duct Td.
- the dust catchers PD and SD have a wall in which gas collides, and dust such as coke collides with the wall and falls downward in the process of circulating cooling gas flowing therethrough (R1 direction). , R2 direction).
- the red hot coke Co accommodated in a bucket (not shown) pushed out from a coke oven (not shown) is carried from the top of the chamber CB (X1 direction).
- hot red hot coke Co is accumulated in the upper pre-chamber PC and is lowered to the lower cooling chamber CC at regular time intervals.
- the red hot coke Co is cooled to an initial temperature of about 1000 ° C. to 200 ° C. or less (generation of cooled red hot coke Co ′), and is discharged through a discharge passage EJ disposed at the bottom of the chamber CB. It is carried to a blast furnace (not shown) by a conveyor BC.
- the circulating cooling gas described above contains unburned gas such as CO, and in order to complete the combustion reaction of these unburned gas until the circulating cooling gas reaches the inlet of the boiler BO, An air introduction path AD for burning unburned gas is provided at the top of the ring duct Rd installed on the outer periphery of the pre-chamber PC of the chamber CB, where combustion air is provided to the circulating cooling gas. It is common. The reason for completing the combustion of the unburned gas before the circulating cooling gas reaches the boiler is to raise the temperature of the circulating cooling gas and increase the amount of heat recovered by the boiler.
- the reason why the combustion air is provided on the upstream side of the primary dust catcher PD is because it takes a certain amount of time to sufficiently mix and burn the unburned gas and air (oxygen).
- the circulating cooling gas rising from the cooling chamber CC to the ring duct Rd is heated to about 800 to 900 ° C., but the circulating cooling gas is further heated by providing combustion air to the circulating cooling gas. It becomes a high temperature atmosphere of about 1000 °C.
- An outline of the flow of the circulating cooling gas in the CDQ is as follows.
- the circulating cooling gas composed of an inert gas is blown from the gas blower GB constituting the circulating facility into the cooling chamber CC below the chamber (in the Y1 direction) and rises upward ( In contact with the hot red hot coke Co (X2 direction) descending in the Y2 direction). Then, it passes through the ring duct Rd on the outer periphery of the pre-chamber PC, enters the primary dust catcher PD from the first duct Fd (flue) (Y2 direction), and flows to the boiler side (Y3 direction).
- a water supply pipe FW and a steam exhaust pipe DW are integrated and integrated, and water is supplied through the water supply pipe FW (Z1 direction), and water is circulated in the boiler BO (Z2 direction). Steam is generated by the heat of the circulating cooling gas flowing in the boiler BO (Y4 direction), and the steam is discharged through the steam exhaust pipe DW to recover heat (Z3 direction).
- the circulating cooling gas deprived of heat due to the generation of steam drops to 200 ° C. or less and flows to the secondary dust catcher SD via the third duct Td (Y5 direction), where the circulating cooling gas is contained. Most of the remaining coke powder will be collected (R2 direction).
- the circulating cooling gas in which most of the contained coke powder is recovered and having a temperature of 200 ° C. or lower, is further cooled down via the gas blower GB and the feed water preheater SE, and the circulating cooling gas of about 130 ° C. is cooled to the cooling chamber CC. In this way, the circulating cooling gas is circulated in the CDQ.
- Patent Document 1 relates to a coke dry fire extinguishing equipment that provides unburned gas combustion air to the circulating cooling gas on the upstream side of the primary dust catcher as shown in FIG. 4, and is particularly characterized in the air blowing method. Technology is disclosed.
- the primary structure of the conventional structure is designed so that the efficiency of collecting the coke powder contained in the circulating cooling gas is increased before the circulating cooling gas enters the boiler, thereby suppressing the increase in cost caused by increasing the boiler scale.
- a measure of applying a cyclone as disclosed in Patent Document 2 instead of the dust catcher can be considered.
- JP 61-168690 A Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-81838
- the present invention has been made in view of the problems described above, and instead of the conventional dust collector described above as the primary dust catcher in order to increase the collection efficiency of the coke powder contained in the circulating cooling gas in the previous stage of entering the boiler.
- the cyclone While applying the cyclone, take measures to prevent the circulating cooling gas of about 1000 ° C from being supplied to the cyclone, and increase the circulating cooling gas temperature to about 1000 ° C before entering the boiler. It aims at providing the coke dry-type fire extinguishing equipment which does not reduce the heat recovery amount by a boiler, without increasing this.
- a coke dry fire extinguishing system includes a chamber into which a red hot coke is supplied and a circulating cooling gas is blown, and a circulating cooling gas heated by the red hot coke in the chamber is a first duct.
- a dust collector that collects coke powder in the circulating cooling gas, and a boiler that collects the circulating cooling gas flowing out of the dust collector through the second duct and recovers the heat of the circulating cooling gas;
- a coke dry fire extinguishing system that cools reddish coke by returning the circulating cooling gas flowing out from the boiler back to the chamber through a third duct connecting the boiler and the chamber, wherein the dust collector comprises a cyclone, and the cyclone Is provided with a circulating cooling gas controlled to a temperature of 900 ° C. or less.
- Air introducing path for performing combustion of unburnt gas of the circulating cooling gas by introducing air, in which are present only in the middle position of the second duct.
- the coke dry fire extinguishing equipment (CDQ) of the present invention uses a cyclone as a dust collector, and further includes an air introduction path for introducing air into the circulating cooling gas and burning unburned gas in the circulating cooling gas,
- a cyclone as a dust collector, and further includes an air introduction path for introducing air into the circulating cooling gas and burning unburned gas in the circulating cooling gas,
- the circulating cooling gas controlled to a temperature of 900 ° C. or less is applied to the cyclone.
- the boiler is provided with a circulating cooling gas of about 1000 ° C. in which the combustion of the unburned gas is completed.
- the circulating cooling gas controlled to a temperature of 900 ° C. or less is provided to the cyclone, and air is introduced into the circulating cooling gas to burn the unburned gas in the circulating cooling gas.
- the air introduction path is not located in the middle of the chamber and the first duct, but only in the middle of the second duct” means that the circulation controlled to a temperature of 900 ° C. or less. This means that the provision of the cooling gas and the presence of the air introduction path only in the middle of the second duct are closely related.
- the configuration in terms of words, seems not to satisfy the configuration of the present invention described above.
- the circulating cooling gas having a temperature of 900 ° C. or less that does not interfere with the wall of the cyclone is provided to the cyclone, such a control mode is also included in the configuration of the present invention described above. That is, the configuration that avoids the configuration of the present invention is only a mode in which a circulating cooling gas having a temperature exceeding 900 ° C. is provided to the cyclone.
- the air provided therethrough generates a circulating cooling gas having a temperature exceeding 900 ° C. (for example, about 980 ° C.) in the duct upstream of the cyclone, for example, as in a conventional CDQ . Therefore, in the case where the air introduction path is provided in the duct on the upstream side of the cyclone instead of such a configuration, the present invention is applied in the case of providing a slight amount of air to the circulating cooling gas. In the case where the temperature of the circulating cooling gas introduced into the cyclone is still 900 ° C. or less, the present invention is applied even when the installation mode of the air introduction path is different from the configuration of the present invention. It shall be included in the above configuration.
- control to a temperature of 900 ° C or lower means that the temperature control of 900 ° C or lower is executed by not providing air upstream of the cyclone, based on the past CDQ operation results.
- the temperature of the circulating cooling gas is controlled to be low before and after entering the cooling chamber so that the temperature when the circulating cooling gas flows through the first duct is 900 ° C. or lower (for example, lower than the conventional 130 ° C.) For example, the temperature is controlled to about 100 ° C.).
- the swirling flow of the circulating cooling gas including the unburned gas is used to generate the unburned gas. Combustion can be promoted, and even when the distance between the cyclone and the boiler, that is, the length of the second duct is not long, the completion of combustion of the unburned gas until the circulating cooling gas reaches the boiler can be guaranteed.
- the time required for the circulating cooling gas in the swirling state to reach the boiler from the cyclone is about 1 second or less. Has been confirmed to burn.
- the volume of the circulating cooling gas provided to the cyclone is reduced, so that the cyclone can be downsized.
- a trial calculation result is obtained that the volume of the circulating cooling gas is about 75%.
- the second duct is composed of a rising portion that rises upward from the top of the cyclone, and a horizontal portion that is bent from the rising portion and extends in the horizontal direction or the substantially horizontal direction, and the air introduction path is the rising portion.
- the “substantially horizontal direction” means tilting in a range of about ⁇ 20 degrees or less with respect to the horizontal.
- the swirling flow of the circulating cooling gas generated by the cyclone circulates over the entire section of the second duct composed of the rising portion and the horizontal portion extending in the horizontal direction or the substantially horizontal direction.
- the air introduction path is provided at the rising part that rises upward from the top of the cyclone, air can be provided to the swirling flow with a high swirl flow velocity, compared with the case where air is provided to the horizontal part. Combustion of unburned gas can be promoted.
- the air introduction path does not hinder the flow of the swirling flow generated in the process in which the circulating cooling gas enters the cyclone along the curved linear introduction path provided on the side of the cylindrical rising portion, for example. It is preferable that an air introduction direction that is disposed at a position and does not hinder the flow of the swirling flow is defined. Further, as the form of the air introduction path, one air introduction path is arranged at a predetermined level position of the rising part, or 2 to 4 air introduction paths at the same level (in the same plane) of the rising part. There are various forms such as a form provided with a diagonal line position in the case of 2 units, an interval of 120 degrees in the case of 3 units, and an interval of 90 degrees in the case of 4 units.
- the cyclone in addition to the application of the cyclone excellent in dust collection performance, air introduction for performing combustion of unburned gas in the circulating cooling gas.
- the cyclone can collect dust with the circulating cooling gas at a lower temperature than before without increasing the flow rate of the circulating cooling gas. It can be made of heat resistant steel, suppresses the generation of clinker in the cyclone and suppresses the reduction of dust collection, and the circulating cooling gas provided is at a low temperature of 900 ° C or less, so the volume of circulating cooling gas is As a result, the cyclone can be reduced in size.
- the dust concentration can be significantly reduced, and since the amount of dust contained in the circulating cooling gas that circulates in the boiler is low, it is possible to eliminate the need for wear resistance measures on the heat transfer surface of the boiler.
- the cooling gas flow rate can be increased and the boiler can be downsized by improving the heat transfer performance.
- the secondary dust catcher and the accompanying conveyor can be eliminated, and in combination with the various effects described above, the equipment cost of the entire CDQ system can be greatly reduced.

- FIG. 2 is an enlarged perspective view of a cyclone and a second duct
- FIG. 3 is a view taken along arrows III-III in FIG. is there.
- coke dry fire extinguishing equipment 100 two heat exchangers, a chamber 10 and a boiler 30, and a cyclone 20 as a dust collector are provided with an inert gas (nitrogen is the main component, CO 2 , H 2 O ,
- the first duct 70, the second duct 80, and the third duct 90 which constitute a circulation system of a circulating cooling gas composed of a small amount of CO, a gas containing H 2 , and the like. The whole is roughly structured.
- the chamber 10 and the cyclone 20 are connected via a first duct 70, the cyclone 20 and the boiler 30 are connected via a second duct 80, and the boiler 30 and the chamber 10 are disposed in the middle thereof. It is connected via the third duct 90 via the gas blower 50 that has been made.
- the circulating cooling gas composed of inert gas cools the hot red hot coke Co while circulating through the distribution system shown in the figure, and the circulating cooling gas heated by the heat received from the red hot coke Co is the water circulating in the boiler 30. Is evaporated to produce steam.
- the red hot coke Co accommodated in a bucket (not shown) pushed out from a coke oven (not shown) is carried from the top of the chamber 10 (X1 direction).
- hot red hot coke Co is accumulated in the upper pre-chamber 11 and lowered to the lower cooling chamber 12 at regular time intervals.
- the red hot coke Co is cooled to an initial temperature of about 1000 ° C. to 200 ° C. or less (generation of cooled red hot coke Co ′), and is discharged through the discharge path 14 provided at the bottom of the chamber 10. It is carried by a conveyor 15 to a blast furnace (not shown).
- the circulating cooling gas contains unburned gas such as CO.
- unburned gas such as CO.
- the air introduction path 40 for burning unburned gas is provided only in the middle of the second duct 80 located downstream of the cyclone 20 (not provided in the middle of the chamber 10 or the first duct 70). Combustion air is provided to the circulating cooling gas.
- the circulating cooling gas is blown into the cooling chamber 12 below the chamber from the gas blower 50 constituting the circulation facility (Y1 direction) and descends in the process of rising upward (Y2 direction) and hot red hot coke Co (X2 direction). Contact with. Then, it passes through the ring duct 13 on the outer periphery of the pre-chamber 11, enters the cyclone 20 that is a dust collector from the first duct 70 (Y2 direction), becomes a swirling flow Y3 ′ in the cyclone 70, and flows to the boiler side ( Y3 ′′ direction).
- the circulating cooling gas rising from the cooling chamber 12 to the ring duct 13 (Y1 direction) is heated to about 800 ° C., but unlike the conventional structure CDQ, the combustion air circulates in the chamber 10. Since it is not provided to the cooling gas, the circulating cooling gas does not further rise in temperature, and flows into the first duct 70 from the ring duct 13 at about 800 ° C. (temperature of 900 ° C. or less).
- the circulating cooling gas flowing through the first duct 70 enters the cyclone 70 while maintaining a temperature of about 800 ° C., where a swirling flow Y3 ′ is generated.
- the cyclone 20 has a cylindrical shape whose diameter is reduced downward, and a curved linear circulating cooling gas introduction passage 21 is in fluid communication with the inside of the cylinder.
- the rising part 81 that constitutes rises and further bends so that a horizontal part 82 that constitutes the second duct 80 leads to the boiler 30 side.
- each air introduction path 40 is arranged at 90 ° intervals in the middle of the rising portion 81, and the air introduction directions (Q2 directions) of the respective air introduction paths 40 are as follows. , It is defined in a direction that does not hinder the flow of the swirling flow Y3 ′ of the circulating cooling gas generated in the process of flowing through the introduction path 21 (Y2 direction).
- the cyclone 20 effectively collects the highly wearable coke powder of the circulating cooling gas.
- the temperature of the circulating cooling gas flowing through the horizontal portion 82 in the manner of the swirling flow Y3 ′′ to the boiler side is raised and about 800 ° C. when flowing into the cyclone 20 (900 From 1000 ° C.) to about 1000 ° C. and flows into the boiler 30.
- a steam generation / recovery path 35 for supplying water and exhausting steam is internally provided in the boiler 30, and water is supplied through the steam generation / recovery path 35 (Z1 direction), and water flows through the boiler 30 (Z2 direction).
- steam is generated by the heat of the circulating cooling gas flowing in the boiler 30 (Y4 direction), and this steam is discharged through the steam generation / recovery path 35 to recover heat (Z3 direction).
- the circulating cooling gas deprived of heat due to the generation of steam drops to 200 ° C. or less, flows to the chamber 10 side through the third duct 90 (Y5 direction), passes through the gas blower 50, and passes through the feed water preheater 60. Then, the temperature is further lowered, and the circulating cooling gas of about 130 ° C. is blown into the cooling chamber 12 (Y1 direction), and thus the circulating cooling gas is circulated in the CDQ.
- the structure improvement in which the arrangement position of the air introduction path 40 for executing the combustion of the unburned gas in the circulating cooling gas is changed from the conventional CDQ.
- circulating cooling gas in a relatively low temperature region of 900 ° C. or less can be collected in the cyclone 20, and stainless steel or the like can be used without using an expensive heat-resistant material such as Inconel as a forming material of the cyclone 20. Heat resistant steel can be used.
- the swirl flow Y3 ′ of the circulating cooling gas including the unburned gas is not used. Combustion of the combustion gas can be promoted, and even when the distance between the cyclone 20 and the boiler 30, that is, the length of the second duct 80 is not long, the combustion of the unburned gas until the circulating cooling gas reaches the boiler 30. Completion can be guaranteed. Moreover, since air is not provided to the circulating cooling gas provided to the cyclone 20, unburned gas is burned in the cyclone 20 to generate clinker, and is prevented from adhering to the wall of the cyclone.
- the problem that the dust collection property of the cyclone 20 falls by the clinker adhering to the wall surface cannot occur. Furthermore, since the temperature of the circulating cooling gas provided to the cyclone 20 is lowered to 900 ° C. or less, the thermal expansion is suppressed. As a result, the volume of the circulating cooling gas provided is reduced. Can also be achieved. Further, by applying the cyclone 20, the dust concentration in the circulating cooling gas can be greatly reduced as compared with the primary dust catcher having the conventional structure. As a result, the influence of wear due to the circulating cooling gas in the boiler 30 is extremely reduced, and the cost required for forming a wear-resistant coating such as thermal spraying and installation of a protector is eliminated.
- the present inventors have considered the dust reduction effect by introducing a cyclone. Specifically, the introduction of a cyclone increases the dust reduction effect, and it becomes possible to design a boiler without considering the influence of dust wear.
- the flow rate of the circulating cooling gas introduced into the boiler can be increased.
- the K value all heat transfer coefficient
- the amount of wear on the boiler wall is determined by the kinetic energy of the dust and the amount of dust if the dust type is the same. Kinetic energy is proportional to the product of the dust mass and the square of the velocity.
- the particle size of dust can be reduced to about 1/10, from several hundred ⁇ m to several tens ⁇ m.
- the amount of wear can be significantly reduced because the amount of dust (mass) is reduced to about 1/10.
- the heat recovery amount Q can be expressed by KA ⁇ tm (K: overall heat transfer coefficient, A: heat transfer area, ⁇ tm: logarithm average temperature difference).
- the K value is increased by increasing the flow rate of the circulating cooling gas in the boiler, so the heat transfer area A in the boiler can be reduced. It leads to downsizing.
- this effect is not limited to an increase in the size of the cyclone, but also an increase in the size of equipment such as ducts and blowers, an increase in blower power, and an increase in boiler size. Necessary.
- a cyclone is applied to a configuration in which an air introduction path for introducing air into the circulating cooling gas and performing combustion of unburned gas in the circulating cooling gas exists only in the middle of the second duct.
- an air introduction path for introducing air into the circulating cooling gas and performing combustion of unburned gas in the circulating cooling gas exists only in the middle of the second duct.
