Die Erfindung betrifft vorrangig ein verchromtes Innenprofil für insbesondere kleinkalibrige Maschinenwaffen. Die Verchromung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass sie sich über die gesamte Länge des Waffenrohres, also auch in den thermisch hoch beanspruchten Bereichen, aufgetragen ist. Damit eine derartige Verchromung realisiert werden kann, wird ein neues Innenprofil für Maschinenwaffen derart vorgesehen, dass als Profil mit Polygonzügen und mit einer Feldhöhe ausgeführt ist, die noch eine geplante Verchromungsschichtdicke ermöglichen. Leider wird aufgrund dieser Vorgabe bei derart kleinen Kalibern keine saubere Kontur geschaffen, sodass in den hohen Druckbereichen das Zug-Feld-Profil ein Scheren an den Zügen nicht verhindert wird und diese weg brechen können. Obwohl sich eine Verchromung von Kleinkaliberwaffen nicht anbietet, wie bereits ausgeführt, geht die Erfindung davon aus, eine Vollverchromung des Waffenlaufes vorzunehmen, nicht nur eines hoch beanspruchten Bereichs. Dadurch können die Leistenkräfte durch das Feldprofil besser aufgenommen bzw. gehalten werden. Dieses Innenprofil lässt dann ein Verchromen des Waffenrohres zu. Als vorteilhaft wird dabei erwähnt, dass der Lauf zwei Züge aufweist. In Fig. 1 ist in einer Schnittdarstellung ein sonst nicht näher dargestelltes Waffenrohr 1 dargestellt. Dieses weist ein Innenprofil 2 mit Feldern 3 und Zügen 4 auf. Die Felder 3 sind als Polygone - trapezförmig und asymmetrisch - ausgeführt, die wesentlich schmaler als die Züge 4 sind. Die Polygone weisen einseitig einen relativ langen Anstieg 5 und auf der anderen Seite eine schnell absteigende bzw. abfallende Flanke 6 auf (Fig. 2). Eine derartige konstruktive Form der Felder 3 ermöglicht eine bessere Aufnahme der Leistungskräfte, auf die senkrecht stehende Höhe. Zur Erhöhung der Lebensdauer der Waffenrohres 1 ist nunmehr vorgesehen, das ganze Waffenrohr 1 zu verchromen. Die Chromschicht 7 auf den Zügen 4 ist dabei dünner als die Chromschicht 8 auf den Feldern 3. Auf den Steigungen 5 und Flanken 6 sind Schichtdickenübergänge 9 von Feld 3 auf Zug 4 und Zug 4 auf Feld 3 aufgebracht. In Fig. 1, an otherwise not shown weapon barrel 1 is shown in a sectional view.
