Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fixation d'un patient sur une table d'opération lorsque le patient se trouve en position de Trendelenburg, et un appareil associé comprenant un kit. Un coussinet viscoélastique est utilisé pour supporter et maintenir un patient sur une table d'intervention médicale durant une intervention médicale réalisée alors que la table, et par conséquent le patient s'y trouvant, sont en position inclinée, par exemple en position de Trendelenburg. Le coussinet viscoélastique présente des caractéristiques qui favorisent une minimisation des forces de pression sur le corps du patient, et qui favorisent un amortissement et un maintien sécurisés du patient dans une position souhaitée sur la table, de manière à minimiser les lésions chez le patient.
