Abstract

The present invention relates to a jaw crusher (1) for comminuting materials, with at least one moving crushing jaw (10) which is brought into connection with an eccentric unit (12) having a drive shaft (11) in such a manner that the crushing jaw (10) performs a periodic rotary stroke movement, and wherein the eccentric unit (12) has at least one compensating mass (13) rotating about the drive shaft (11). According to the invention, at least one additional compensation mass (14) is provided, which performs a rotational movement opposite to the rotational movement of the compensation mass (13).
