Abstract

Cette invention concerne un système de séparation 10 pour séparer des premiers composants particulaires solides de seconds composants particulaires solides ayant des tailles de particules qui sont plus petites que celles des premiers composants solides, lesdits premiers et seconds composants solides étant en suspension dans un liquide pour former un mélange 12. Le système 10 comprend un premier dispositif de séparation 11; et un second dispositif de séparation 13. Le second dispositif de séparation 13 comprend une courroie/bande de criblage sans fin 14 qui peut se déplacer sur un trajet prédéfini et qui définit une pluralité d'ouvertures 16 d'une taille appropriée pour laisser passer les seconds composants solides et empêcher le passage des premiers composants solides. La courroie/bande de criblage 14 comporte une région de séparation 18 et le premier dispositif de séparation 11 est conçu pour recevoir le mélange 12, pour séparer au moins partiellement les premiers composants solides des seconds composants solides dans le mélange 12 et pour acheminer le mélange 12 au moins partiellement séparé vers la région de séparation 18.
