본 발명은 이동통신단말기를 이용하여 쿠폰을 통합적으로 관리하는 것에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 이동통신단말기, 특히 스마트폰에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션(Application)을 이용하여 웹 방식의 쿠폰페이지 형태나 포인트나 마일리지 형태 또는 스탬프 형태의 쿠폰 등 다양한 종류 및 형태의 쿠폰을 스마트폰 어플리케이션 방식의 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환하거나 이들 특정 정보를 포함하는 파일 형태로 변환하고 분류한 후에 통합적으로 관리하고 사용자들 사이에 상호 교환이 가능하도록 하는 방법 및 그 시스템에 관한 것이다.
쿠폰을 관리하는 종래기술로서, 국내특허공개공보 제10-2003-0041413호의 이동통신 단말기를 이용한 쿠폰정보 알람 시스템 및 방법이 개시되어 있다. 이는 사용자가 다운로드 받은 쿠폰의 관리를 위하여 해당 통신사의 관련 서비스를 신청하여야 하고, 다운로드 받은 쿠폰을 서버에 등록한 후에 쿠폰의 유효 정보 알람(Alarm) 서비스를 통해 유효기간이 임박하였을 때에 서버로부터 특정 메시지를 수신하는 방식이다. 사용자는 메시지를 수신한 때에는 충분히 인지하여 대응이 가능하지만, 지속적인 알림 기능이 없어 사용자는 쉽게 잊어버릴 수 있는 문제가 있었다. 그로 인하여 유효기간 내에 해당 쿠폰을 사용하지 못하면 다른 대안 없이 소멸될 가능성이 있었다. 그리고 상기 서비스를 제공하는 특정의 통신사를 이용하여야 하는 불편과, 수많은 회사의 다양한 쿠폰을 일일이 등록하여 관리하는 것은 사용자 입장에서 매우 번거로운 문제도 있었다.

또한, 쿠폰을 관리하는 종래기술로서, 국내공개특허공보 제10-2010-0025578호의 모바일 단말기에서 동적 모바일 쿠폰(Dynamic Mobile Coupons, DMC)의 관리 방법에 관한 것이 개시되어 있다. 이는 현재 제공되고 있는 다양한 형태의 가변 특성 기능을 가질 수 있는 웹 방식의 모바일 쿠폰을 사용자 인터페이스(UI)를 통해 웹 방식으로 브라우징 하고, 동적 전자 관리를 통해 분류, 관리하는 방법이다. 이 경우 가변 특성을 지닌 모바일 쿠폰만으로 한정될 수 있고, 또한, 취득한 모든 각각의 모바일 쿠폰이 가변 특성을 가지고 동적 모바일 쿠폰을 통해 실행되고 있는 상황에서 사용자 별로 그 쿠폰의 수가 많아지면 모바일 단말기에서 처리해야 할 자원이 많이 할당될 수 있으며, 사용자 프로파일을 통해 주고 받는 데이터양이 많아질 수 있는 단점이 있다. 쿠폰 관리에 할당될 전체 프로세서나 메모리 사용에도 영향을 줄 수 있다.
또한, 쿠폰을 관리하는 종래기술로서, 국내특허등록공보 제10-0878854호의 2차원 쿠폰 코드를 이용한 모바일 서비스 시스템 및 그 방법이 개시되어 있다. 2차원 쿠폰 코드를 이용하는 모바일 서비스로 유저가 쿠폰에 인쇄된 2차원 코드를 캡처하여 서버로 전송하고, 또한, 상점매체에 인쇄된 2차원 상점 코드를 캡처해서 서버로 보낸 후, 2차원 코드를 통한 수많은 쿠폰을 시스템에 보관하고 분류하는 방법이다. 이는 이동통신단말기로 취득할 수 있는 모바일 쿠폰이 종류가 다양하지만, 여기에서는 2차원 코드에 국한되어 있고 인쇄된 2차원 쿠폰 코드에 서로 약속된 정보를 인식할 수 있는 시스템에만 가능하다. 이러한 2차원 코드형 쿠폰을 유저나 상점매체에서 캡처한 후 모두 서버에서 모두 보관함으로써 그 수가 많을수록 서버의 용량이 늘어나는 부담이 있었다.
상기 종래기술에서는 이동통신단말기에서 취득한 모바일 쿠폰의 종류와 형태가 다양하기 때문에 사용자 입장에서는 어플리케이션 등과 같은 어느 한 곳에서 통합적인 관리가 필요하다. 그리고 이미 취득하였거나 관리하고 있는 쿠폰이 각각 종류별로 쿠폰을 제공받은 서버가 다를 수 있고, 이동통신단말기에서는 쿠폰의 종류도 웹 방식의 쿠폰페이지 형태나 포인트, 마일리지, 상품권 또는 스탬프 형태의 쿠폰 등 다양한 종류나 형태로 각각 다른 어플리케이션을 사용하여야 했다. 또한, 동일한 서버에서도 이동통신단말기들과의 다양한 종류와 형태의 모바일 쿠폰을 효율적으로 관리하기 위해서는 사용자가 이들을 직관적이고 쉽게 인지하여 관리해야 할 필요성이 남아 있었다.
본 발명은 이동통신단말기와 이동통신단말기에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션과 카메라, 그리고 인터넷으로 접속되는 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버 등으로 각종의 쿠폰을 변환, 분류 및 저장하고, 저장된 쿠폰의 교환, 양도 및 양수 등 쿠폰을 보다 효과적으로 관리하고 사용할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이 목적이다.
또한, 본 발명은 서버와 이동통신단말기 사이의 동기화를 통해 필요한 특정 정보만을 업데이트 하여 부하를 분산시킴과 더불어 이동통신단말기와 서버에 동시에 쿠폰정보를 저장하고 관리하기 위한 것이 다른 목적이다.
본 발명은 상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 발명에 따른 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법은, (a) 각종 상품의 구매 후에 제공되는 다양한 종류 및 형태의 쿠폰을 이동통신단말기에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션(Application)의 실행으로 유효한 기본정보를 추출하여 자동 인식하는 단계; (b) 상기 이동통신단말기에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션을 이용하여 자동으로 인식한 유효한 기본정보를 저장 가능한 로고 이미지로 조합 및 결합한 후에 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환하거나 이들 특정 정보를 포함하는 파일 형태로 변환하고 분류한 후에 이동통신단말기에 저장하는 단계; (c) 상기 이동통신단말기는 실행된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션으로 인터넷을 통해 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 접속되어 이메일(E-Mail)을 통한 회원등록 또는 이동통신단말기 인증을 수행한 후에 이동통신단말기와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버의 동기화를 수행하여 이동통신단말기에 변동된 쿠폰정보가 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버를 거쳐 쿠폰DB에 저장되도록 하는 단계; (d) 상기 이동통신단말기는 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결된 쿠폰교환모듈에서 제공하는 쿠폰교환 웹사이트를 접속한 후에 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)를 통해 이동통신단말기에서 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰을 교환 또는 양도 요청하거나 요청된 쿠폰을 양수하는 단계; (e) 상기 이동통신단말기가 웹사이트를 통해 변환된 형태로 저장된 특정의 쿠폰을 양수하면 양수하려는 쿠폰의 기본정보에 따라 사용이 가능한 유효한 쿠폰인 경우 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결된 코드부여모듈에서 쿠폰발행업체에서 자동 결제 가능한 코드로 변환되어 해당 사용자의 이동통신단말기와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 저장되도록 하는 단계; 및 (f) 상기 이동통신단말기에서 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰이 유효기간 이내일 경우 쿠폰을 발행한 발행업체에서 쿠폰을 사용하고, 사용된 쿠폰은 이동통신단말기에서 삭제되도록 하며, 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버와 동기화를 통해 서버에서도 삭제되도록 하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어진 것이 특징이다.
또한, 본 발명에서, 상기 이동통신단말기는 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션을 이용하여 쿠폰 발행업체에서 제공하는 쿠폰의 기본정보를 온라인을 통해 다운로드 받아 저장하거나 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결된 이벤트광고모듈에서 제공하는 쿠폰의 기본정보를 온라인을 통해 다운로드 받아 저장할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에서, 상기 다양한 종류 및 형태의 쿠폰 중에서 이동통신단말기에 의하여 모바일 쿠폰으로 자동 인식되지 않은 기본정보를 포함하는 쿠폰의 경우에는 사용자에 의해 수동으로 해당하는 유효한 기본정보가 이동통신단말기로 입력되면 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션이 입력된 기본정보를 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환하고 분류한 후에 이동통신단말기에 저장할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에서, 상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰의 유효한 기본정보는 쿠폰 발행업체, 상품의 용도, 유효기간, 유효가치를 포함하고, 쿠폰의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션에서 쿠폰 발행업체별, 상품의 용도별, 유효기간별, 유효가치별로 분리 및 분류하여 저장되도록 할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에서, 상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰은 분류에 따라 쿠폰의 발행업체, 상품의 용도별, 유효기간별 또는 유효가치별로 서로 다른 색상이 표시되도록 하고, 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰의 유효기간에 따라 설정된 기간 동안 유효기간이 도래하고 있음을 가청각적으로 표시되도록 하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에서, 상기 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버는 이동통신단말기에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션의 작동에 의하여 쿠폰사용 위치검색으로 위치정보제공모듈로부터 이동통신단말기에 획득되어 변환된 형태로 저장 후 관리되는 쿠폰 중에서 사용자의 현재 위치 또는 쿠폰 발행업체별 또는 쿠폰 용도별로 검색을 통해 사용이 가능한 쿠폰의 발행업체를 이동통신단말기의 현재 위치에서 가시적으로 표시하되, 거리범위 또는 최단거리를 지도상에 표시되도록 할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에서, 상기 쿠폰은 변환된 아이템 형태의 아이콘 이미지와 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지의 조합 및 결합으로부터 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지를 길게 터치하면 이동, 수정 또는 삭제되도록 하고, 로고 이미지를 짧게 터치하면 쿠폰 발행업체의 웹사이트나 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 링크되도록 하며, 상품의 용도에 해당하는 아이콘 이미지를 길게 터치하면 해당 상품과 관련된 다른 상품의 용도로 링크되도록 하고, 아이콘 이미지를 짧게 터치하면 쿠폰의 상세정보로 링크되도록 할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리시스템은, 인터넷을 통하여 이동통신단말기와 접속되어 이동통신단말기와 동기화를 통해 이동통신단말기에 저장된 쿠폰정보를 송수신하고, 이동통신단말기를 통해 쿠폰의 교환, 양도 또는 양수를 위한 웹사이트를 제공하며, 유선망과 연결된 윈도우즈 기반의 단말기들과 무선망을 접근하는 모바일 환경의 단말기들의 데이터 처리를 수행하는 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버; 상기 이동통신단말기의 정보나 사용자 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 사용자DB; 상기 이동통신단말기의 쿠폰정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 쿠폰DB; 상기 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결되어 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버를 통해 각종 쿠폰 발행업체의 이벤트광고에 관한 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 이벤트광고모듈; 상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장 및 관리하고 있는 쿠폰의 교환, 양도 및 양수가 이루어진 쿠폰에 관한 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 쿠폰교환모듈; 상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장 및 관리하는 쿠폰 정보에 따라 이동통신단말기의 현재위치와 쿠폰 발행업체에 관한 위치정보를 이동통신단말기에 지도정보와 함께 제공하는 위치정보제공모듈; 및 상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장 및 관리하는 쿠폰을 사용이 가능한 쿠폰으로 코드를 부여하는 코드부여모듈을 포함하여 이루어진 것이 특징이다.
본 발명은 이동통신단말기를 이용하여 다양한 종류와 형태의 모바일 쿠폰을 변환한 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 관리함으로써 각각의 쿠폰에 대하여 직관적인 관리가 가능하고, 필요할 때에 빠른 분류 및 사용으로 쿠폰의 활용을 극대화하고, 쿠폰의 유효한 기간 정보를 이동통신단말기에서 관리하였다가 유효기간이 도래하기 전에 사용할 수 있도록 하거나 필요에 따라 교환, 양도 또는 양수할 수 있도록 함으로써, 쉽게 잊어버리거나 유효기간이 경과하여 폐기될 수 있는 쿠폰의 효용가치를 적극적으로 활용할 수 있도록 한 것이다.

도 4는 본 발명에서 이동통신단말기의 어플리케이션에 복수의 쿠폰이 아이콘으로 변환되어 저장된 것을 예시한 것이다.
이하 본 발명에 따른 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리시스템에 관하여 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 상세하게 설명하면 다음과 같다.
도 1에서, 이동통신단말기(1)는 인터넷(3)으로 통신이 가능한 것으로, 카메라(2)가 부착되며 휴대가 간편한 휴대폰, 스마트폰, 태블릿PC 등이 포함된다. 또한, 본 발명에서 이동통신단말기(1)는 NFC(Near Field Communication) 기술, 즉 대략 10cm 이내의 가까운 거리에서 다양한 무선 데이터를 송수신할 수 있는 무선태그(Radio Frequency Identification, RFID)(100) 기술이 포함되어 있는 것이 좋다.
유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 유선망과 연결된 윈도우즈 기반의 단말기들과 무선망을 접근하는 모바일 환경의 단말기들의 데이터 처리를 수행하는 것이다. 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 기존의 윈도우즈 기반의 운영체제와 더불어 윈도 모바일, 안드로이드 OS, 애플의 iOS, 심비안 OS, 블랙베리 OS, 리모, 바다 OS, 미고 등 다양한 모바일 환경의 운영체제를 제공한다. 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 인터넷(3)을 통하여 이동통신단말기(1)와 접속된다. 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 이동통신단말기(1)와 동기화를 통해 이동통신단말기(1)에 저장된 쿠폰정보를 송수신하여 쿠폰DB(21)에 저장한다. 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 이동통신단말기(1)에 저장된 쿠폰정보를 통합 관리하고, 이동통신단말기(1)를 통해 쿠폰의 교환, 양도 또는 양수를 위한 대금정산DB(55)를 제공하는 것이다. 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 이동통신단말기(1)에서 구매 가능한 쿠폰 정보와 이벤트 등에 의해 발행된 쿠폰 정보를 이동통신단말기(1)로 전송한다. 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 이동통신단말기(1)의 쿠폰의 관리 및 이용 등에 필요한 복수의 데이터베이스(DB)나 서버 또는 모듈 등이 연결될 수 있다.
사용자DB(20)는 이동통신단말기(1)의 정보와 사용자 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)로 입출력하는 것으로, 사용자DB(20)는 인터넷(3)을 통해 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에 이동통신단말기의 사용자가 회원으로 등록될 수 있도록 하는 것이 좋다. 쿠폰DB(21)는 이동통신단말기(1)의 쿠폰정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)로 입출력하는 것이다. 쿠폰DB(21)는 사용자가 보유한 이동통신단말기에 저장된 쿠폰 정보를 동기화를 통해 저장하고 관리하기 위한 것이다. 이벤트광고모듈(22)은 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에 연결되어 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버를 통해 각종 쿠폰 발행업체의 이동통신단말기(1)에서 구매 가능한 쿠폰 정보와 이벤트광고에 관한 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)로 입출력하는 것이다. 이벤트광고모듈(22)은 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에 접속된 각종 쿠폰 발행업체의 서버나 관리단말기 등을 통해 이벤트광고를 포함한 쿠폰의 발급 등에 관한 정보를 저장하고 입출력하는 것이다. 쿠폰교환모듈(23)은 이동통신단말기(1)에 저장된 쿠폰의 교환, 양도 및 양수가 이루어진 쿠폰에 관한 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)로 입출력하는 것이다. 쿠폰교환모듈(23)은 복수의 회원이 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에서 제공하는 대금정산DB(55), 예를 들어, 회원들끼리 보유한 쿠폰을 교환, 양도 및 양수할 수 있는 공간을 통해 주고받은 정보를 저장하고 입출력하는 것이다. 위치정보제공모듈(24)은 해당하는 회원의 이동통신단말기(1)에 저장된 쿠폰 정보에 따라 이동통신단말기의 현재위치와 쿠폰 발행업체에 관한 위치정보를 이동통신단말기에 지도정보와 함께 제공하는 것이다. 위치정보제공모듈(24)은 이동통신단말기(1)에 내장된 GPS(위성항법장치)와 GIS(지리정보시스템)을 이용하여 이동통신단말기의 화면에 표시된 지도에 이동통신단말기 내에 저장된 쿠폰의 사용이 가능한 발행업체를 표시하고, 사용자의 선택에 의하여 해당 발행업체까지 최단거리 등을 표시할 수 있도록 위치정보를 제공하는 것이다. 또한, 코드부여모듈(25)은 이동통신단말기에 저장된 쿠폰이 바코드 등의 자동 결제 코드의 형태가 아닐 경우에 자동 결제가 가능하도록 하는 코드를 부여하는 것이다. 또한, 코드부여모듈(25)은 사용자가 보유하고 있는 쿠폰을 중개하여 교환하거나 매매할 수 있는 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 이는 쿠폰 중에서 비교적 고가이거나 희소성이 있는 쿠폰 등인 경우에 매매하거나 교환이 가능하도록 중개해주는 것이다.
이와 같이 이루어진 본 발명의 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법을 도 2의 흐름도를 참조하여 설명한다.
먼저, 사용자가 각종 상품의 구매 후에 다양한 쿠폰 발행업체에서 제공되는 쿠폰을 획득한다(S11). 쿠폰은 쿠폰발행 업체명, 상품의 용도, 유효기간, 유효가치 등이 포함되어 있다. 쿠폰 발행업체에서 발급된 쿠폰으로부터 기본정보를 추출한 후 인식이 가능한 형태의 쿠폰인지에 따라 자동 인식 또는 수동으로 입력하여 이동통신단말기에 저장되도록 한다(S12). 즉 쿠폰 발행업체에서 발행된 QR코드 형태의 쿠폰은 이동통신단말기(1)에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션(Application)의 실행으로 카메라를 통해 해당 쿠폰을 촬영하여 읽어 들인다. 그리고 NFC 형태의 쿠폰은 이동통신단말기(1)를 통해 쿠폰정보를 읽어 들인다. 더욱이 이동통신단말기(1)는 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션을 이용하여 쿠폰 발행업체에서 제공하는 쿠폰의 기본정보를 온라인을 통해 다운로드 받아 저장하거나 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에 연결된 이벤트광고모듈이나 쿠폰 발행업체로부터 제공하는 쿠폰의 정보를 온라인을 통해 받고 구매한 후에 저장한다.
상기 쿠폰은 인터넷 등의 온라인을 통해 발급되거나 카메라(2)로 촬영하여 인식할 수 있는 바코드나 QR코드 등의 코드형 쿠폰이거나 무선신호로 인식이 가능한 NFC를 포함하는 RFID(100) 등의 전자쿠폰이거나 또는 회원이 포인트나 마일리지 등의 적립을 위한 카드를 통해 적립되는 쿠폰 등이 포함될 수 있다. 쿠폰은 할인권이나 무료이용권 등이 포함될 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 쿠폰을 이동통신단말기(1)에 직접 저장되거나 저장이 가능한 형태로 변환시킬 수 있을 것이다.
더욱이 획득한 쿠폰이 자동 인식으로 기본정보를 추출할 수 없지만 기본정보를 포함되어 있어 사용자가 인지할 수 있을 경우 사용자가 수동으로 해당하는 유효한 정보를 이동통신단말기(1)에 직접 입력한다(S13).
상기 이동통신단말기(1)를 통해 획득한 쿠폰을 자동 인식이 가능한 유효한 기본정보가 포함되어 있고 기본정보를 추출하였다면 이를 다시 저장 가능한 정보로 변환하고 분류한 후에 이동통신단말기(1)에 저장한다(S14). 쿠폰의 유효한 기본정보로는 쿠폰 발행업체, 유효기간, 유효가치를 포함하고, 쿠폰의 분류는 쿠폰 발행업체별, 상품의 용도별, 유효기간별, 유효가치별로 분리하여 저장되도록 한다. 이때, 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고를 별도로 지정하거나 쿠폰의 사진이나 이미지를 자동 입력하거나 선택하여 조합 또는 결합하여 사용자가 용이하게 식별할 수 있도록 하는 것이 좋다. 따라서 쿠폰 발행업체에서 발행된 쿠폰은 발행업체의 로고와 쿠폰의 유효기간 및 유효가치 등의 정보가 포함될 수 있도록 한다. 이는 발행업체별로 아이템 형태별 아이콘으로 분류하여 저장함으로써, 사용자는 복수의 쿠폰 중에서 해당 발행업체의 용이한 식별에 따른 사용의 편의성을 제공할 수 있도록 하는 것이다.
도 3a에서, 이동통신단말기(1)에서 취득한 모바일 쿠폰의 필요한 기본정보의 추출을 통해서 자동 인식된 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로, 상품의 용도별 해외여행에 관한 로고 이미지와 오른쪽 상단에 표시된 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지, 그리고 유효기간과 유효가치 등이 결합된 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환되거나 파일 형태로 변환된 후 저장된다.
도 3b에서, 모바일 쿠폰의 이미지를 상품의 용도별 로고로 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환하여 저장한다. 이는 도 3g에서, 모바일 쿠폰(30)의 변환된 아이템 형태의 아이콘 이미지(31)와 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지(32)의 조합 및 결합으로부터 오른쪽 상단에 표시된 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지(32)를 터치하였을 때에 해당 기능이 제공된다. 즉 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지(32)를 길게 터치하면 이동, 수정, 삭제 등의 기능이 부여되고 짧게 터치하면 쿠폰 발행업체의 웹사이트나 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 링크된다. 또한, 상품의 용도에 해당하는 로고 이미지(31)를 길게 터치하면 해당 상품과 관련된 다른 상품의 용도로 링크되고 짧게 터치하면 모바일 쿠폰의 상세정보로 링크되도록 하는 기능이 제공된다.
또한, 도 3c에서, 상품의 용도별 로고 이미지를 폴더 형태로 분류하여 변환 된 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 나타낸 모바일 쿠폰을 분류 및 저장한다. 또한, 도 3d에서, 각종 카드발행업체에서 제공하는 포인트 형태의 쿠폰을 카드발행업체의 로고 이미지와 포인트 정보를 결합해서 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환하여 저장한다.
또한, 도 3e에서, 각종 제휴마케팅용 카드 포인트나 마일리지 등의 포인트에 관련된 모바일 쿠폰도 해당 업체의 로고 이미지와 포인트 정보를 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환한 후에 저장한다. 도 3f에서, 스탬프 형태의 쿠폰도 몇 번의 스탬프를 가지고 있는지 해당 업체의 이미지 로고와 더불어 그 횟수 정보를 결합하여 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환한 후에 저장 및 관리할 수 있을 것이다.
한편, 도 4에서, 이동통신단말기(1)의 화면(S)에 표시된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션에서 다양한 종류와 형태의 복수의 쿠폰을 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환된 이미지로 제공한 것을 나타낼 수 있도록 한 것이다.
또한, 이동통신단말기(1)는 실행된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션으로 인터넷(3)을 통해 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)와 접속되어 회원 또는 이동통신단말기를 통한 인증을 수행한 후(S15), 이동통신단말기(1)와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)의 동기화를 수행한다(S16). 이동통신단말기(1)와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)의 동기화로 이동통신단말기(1)에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰정보가 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)를 거쳐 쿠폰DB(21)에 저장되도록 한다. 또한, PC(퍼스널컴퓨터)에서 해당 업체의 대금정산DB(55)를 통해 구매한 후에 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에 저장되어 있는 회원의 쿠폰정보도 이동통신단말기(1)에서 변환 과정을 거쳐 저장되도록 한다.
이동통신단말기(1)에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰은 분류에 따라 쿠폰의 발행업체, 상품의 용도별 또는 유효기간별로 서로 다른 색상이 표시되도록 한다(S17). 이는 실제 쿠폰의 기본정보를 추출하여 얻게 된 정보나 서버로부터 동기화를 통해 얻은 정보를 기반으로 표시된다. 예를 들어, 유효기간이 30일 이상인 경우에는 초록색으로 표시되도록 하고, 20일전에는 파란색, 10일전에는 노란색, 그리고 5일전에는 빨간색 등으로 표시되도록 한다. 이는 사용자에게 쿠폰의 유효기간을 식별성이 향상된 색깔로 표시되도록 하여 쿠폰의 활용도를 높일 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 이동통신단말기(1)에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰의 유효기간에 따라 설정된 기간 동안 유효기간이 도래하고 있음을 가청각적으로 표시되도록 한다(S18). 즉 쿠폰의 유효기간이 5일전인 경우에 유효기간이 끝나는 시점까지 매일 특정시간에 음성이나 음향 등으로 알람을 표시하는 것이다. 이는 이동통신단말기(1)나 서버에 저장된 쿠폰이 활용되지 않고 폐기되지 않도록 사용자에게 알릴 수 있도록 하는 것이다.
한편, 유효기간이 얼마 남지 않았거나 자신에게 유용하지 않은 쿠폰은 다른 쿠폰과 교환하거나 기부나 선물의 형태로 양도 및 양수할 수 있을 것이다. 즉 사용자에 의하여 이동통신단말기(1)는 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에 연결된 쿠폰교환모듈(23)에서 제공하는 쿠폰교환 웹사이트에 접속한 후에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰을 교환 또는 양도 요청하거나 웹사이트에 요청된 쿠폰을 양수하게 된다(S19). 이때, 교환 또는 양도 및 양수가 이루어질 때에는 실제 쿠폰이 적용된다.
따라서 사용자는 보유한 쿠폰의 교환이나 양도 및 양수를 위하여 이동통신단말기(1)를 이용하여 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)를 통해 쿠폰의 교환이나 양도 및 양수를 위한 웹사이트에 접속하게 된다(S20). 사용자는 보유한 쿠폰을 기부나 선물의 형태로 이를 양도받기를 원하는 해당하는 회원에게 무상으로 양도할 수 있다. 더욱이 사용자는 다른 회원과 쿠폰의 맞교환이나 사용자에게 필요한 쿠폰을 양도받을 수 있다. 따라서 사용자에 의하여 이동통신단말기(1)가 웹사이트를 통해 특정의 쿠폰을 양수하는 경우에는 양수하려는 쿠폰의 기본정보에 따라 사용이 가능한 유효한 쿠폰인지를 판단하게 된다(S21). 그리고 양수받으려는 쿠폰이 기본정보를 포함하는 유효한 쿠폰인 경우에는 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 회원이 양도받은 쿠폰을 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)에 연결된 코드부여모듈(25)에서 사용이 가능한 코드로 변환시킨다(S22). 예를 들어, 어떤 쿠폰은 쿠폰번호로 제공되는 경우에 자동 결제가 이루어지도록 바코드 형태로 변환하고, 또는 결제하는 회사별로 자동 결제가 가능하도록 각각에 적합한 코드로 변환한다. 그리고 코드가 부여된 쿠폰은 해당하는 사용자의 이동통신단말기(1)로 전송하여 저장되도록 한다. 상기 코드부여모듈(25)은 사용자가 보유하고 있는 쿠폰을 교환하거나 매매할 수 있도록 중개하는 서비스를 제공한다.
또한, 사용자가 이동통신단말기(1)에 변환된 형태로 저장된 유효기간 내의 쿠폰을 사용하고자 하거나 교환이나 양도 및 양수를 통해 획득한 쿠폰 중에서 이미 사용이 가능한 코드가 부여되어 있으면(S24), 쿠폰 발행업체에서 사용할 수 있다(S25). 사용자가 이동통신단말기(1)에 저장된 쿠폰을 사용하면(S25), 사용된 쿠폰 정보는 이동통신단말기(1)에서 삭제되도록 한다(S26).
상기 이동통신단말기(1)에서 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰이 사용되었거나 유효기간이 경과하였거나 또는 교환이나 양도 및 양수가 이루어진 경우에는 이동통신단말기(1)와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 동기화를 수행하여 이동통신단말기(1)와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)의 쿠폰DB(21)에 저장된 쿠폰 정보를 업데이트 하면서 재설정되도록 한다.
또한, 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버(10)는 이동통신단말기(1)에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션의 작동에 의하여 쿠폰사용 위치검색으로 위치정보제공모듈(24)로부터 이동통신단말기(1)에 변환된 형태로 저장되어 있는 쿠폰 중에서 사용이 가능한 쿠폰의 발행업체를 이동통신단말기(1)의 현재 위치에서 가시적으로 표시하되, 거리범위 또는 최단거리를 지도상에 표시되도록 한다. 예를 들어 이동통신단말기를 보유하고 있는 사용자가 현재 위치에서 사용이 가능한 쿠폰을 발행업체별로 검색하면 50m이내, 100이내, 200m이내 등으로 최적의 거리와 위치를 지도 위에 표시할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 이는 쿠폰 사용자에게 쿠폰 사용이 가능한 위치를 지도를 통해 상세하게 안내함으로써, 쿠폰 사용의 편의를 확대한 것이다.
이와 같이 본 발명은 이동통신단말기에서 쿠폰의 유효기간에 따라 색깔 별로 다르게 시각적으로 변화하기 때문에 사용자가 인지하기 쉽게 제공되며, 만료일이 가까워진 시점에서는 일정기간동안 지속적인 알람을 제공하여 사용자로 하여금 쿠폰의 사용여부를 결정하도록 한다. 그리고 이동통신단말기에서 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰은 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버를 통하여 상호 자발적 교환이나 필요로 하는 사용자에게 선물 형태의 기부나 양도 및 양수할 수 있도록 한다.
또한, 본 발명은 획득한 쿠폰을 사용자의 현재위치로부터 가능한 가까운 곳에서 목적지까지 최적의 경로를 이동통신단말기에 지도정보와 함께 표시되도록 하여 쿠폰의 사용처를 용이하게 찾을 수 있어 보다 적극적인 쿠폰의 활용이 가능하도록 한 장점이 있다.
이상의 설명에서 본 발명은 특정의 실시 예와 관련하여 도시 및 설명하였지만, 특허청구범위에 의해 나타난 발명의 사상 및 영역으로부터 벗어나지 않는 한도 내에서 다양한 개조 및 변화가 가능하다는 것을 이 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 누구나 쉽게 알 수 있을 것이다.
본 발명은 이동통신단말기를 이용하여 각각의 쿠폰에 대하여 직관적인 관리가 가능하고, 필요시 빠른 분류 및 사용으로 쿠폰의 활용을 극대화하며, 쿠폰의 유효한 기간 정보를 이동통신단말기에서 관리하였다가 유효기간이 도래하기 전에 사용할 수 있도록 하거나 필요에 따라 교환, 양도 또는 양수할 수 있도록 하여 쉽게 잊어버리거나 유효기간이 경과하여 폐기될 수 있는 쿠폰의 효용가치를 적극적으로 활용할 수 있으므로, 산업상 이용가능성이 있다.
Claims (8)
- (a) 각종 상품의 구매 후에 제공되는 다양한 종류 및 형태의 쿠폰을 이동통신단말기에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션(Application)의 실행으로 유효한 기본정보를 추출하여 자동 인식하는 단계;(b) 상기 이동통신단말기에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션을 이용하여 자동으로 인식한 유효한 기본정보를 저장 가능한 로고 이미지로 조합 및 결합한 후에 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환하거나 이들 특정 정보를 포함하는 파일 형태로 변환하고 분류한 후에 이동통신단말기에 저장하는 단계;(c) 상기 이동통신단말기는 실행된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션으로 인터넷을 통해 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 접속되어 이메일(E-Mail)을 통한 회원등록 또는 이동통신단말기 인증을 수행한 후에 이동통신단말기와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버의 동기화를 수행하여 이동통신단말기에 변동된 쿠폰정보가 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버를 거쳐 쿠폰DB에 저장되도록 하는 단계;(d) 상기 이동통신단말기는 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결된 쿠폰교환모듈에서 제공하는 쿠폰교환 웹사이트를 접속한 후에 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)를 통해 이동통신단말기에서 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰을 교환 또는 양도 요청하거나 요청된 쿠폰을 양수하는 단계;(e) 상기 이동통신단말기가 웹사이트를 통해 변환된 형태로 저장된 특정의 쿠폰을 양수하면 양수하려는 쿠폰의 기본정보에 따라 사용이 가능한 유효한 쿠폰인 경우 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결된 코드부여모듈에서 쿠폰발행업체에서 자동 결제 가능한 코드로 변환되어 해당 사용자의 이동통신단말기와 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 저장되도록 하는 단계; 및(f) 상기 이동통신단말기에서 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰이 유효기간 이내일 경우 쿠폰을 발행한 발행업체에서 쿠폰을 사용하고, 사용된 쿠폰은 이동통신단말기에서 삭제되도록 하며, 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버와 동기화를 통해 서버에서도 삭제되도록 하는 단계를 포함하는 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 이동통신단말기는 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션을 이용하여 쿠폰 발행업체에서 제공하는 쿠폰의 기본정보를 온라인을 통해 다운로드 받아 저장하거나 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결된 이벤트광고모듈에서 제공하는 쿠폰의 기본정보를 온라인을 통해 다운로드 받아 저장하는 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 다양한 종류 및 형태의 쿠폰 중에서 이동통신단말기에 의하여 모바일 쿠폰으로 자동 인식되지 않은 기본정보를 포함하는 쿠폰의 경우에는 사용자에 의해 수동으로 해당하는 유효한 기본정보가 이동통신단말기로 입력되면 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션이 입력된 기본정보를 아이템 형태의 아이콘으로 변환하고 분류한 후에 이동통신단말기에 저장하는 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰의 유효한 기본정보는 쿠폰 발행업체, 상품의 용도, 유효기간, 유효가치를 포함하고, 쿠폰의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션에서 쿠폰 발행업체별, 상품의 용도별, 유효기간별, 유효가치별로 분리 및 분류하여 저장되도록 하는 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰은 분류에 따라 쿠폰의 발행업체, 상품의 용도별, 유효기간별 또는 유효가치별로 서로 다른 색상이 표시되도록 하고, 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장된 쿠폰의 유효기간에 따라 설정된 기간 동안 유효기간이 도래하고 있음을 가청각적으로 표시되도록 하는 단계를 더 포함하는 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버는 이동통신단말기에 탑재된 쿠폰 통합 관리용 어플리케이션의 작동에 의하여 쿠폰사용 위치검색으로 위치정보제공모듈로부터 이동통신단말기에 획득되어 변환된 형태로 저장 후 관리되는 쿠폰 중에서 사용자의 현재 위치 또는 쿠폰 발행업체별 또는 쿠폰 용도별로 검색을 통해 사용이 가능한 쿠폰의 발행업체를 이동통신단말기의 현재 위치에서 가시적으로 표시하되, 거리범위 또는 최단거리를 지도상에 표시되도록 하는 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 쿠폰은 변환된 아이템 형태의 아이콘 이미지와 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지의 조합 및 결합으로부터 쿠폰 발행업체의 로고 이미지를 길게 터치하면 이동, 수정 또는 삭제되도록 하고, 로고 이미지를 짧게 터치하면 쿠폰 발행업체의 웹사이트나 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 링크되도록 하며, 상품의 용도에 해당하는 아이콘 이미지를 길게 터치하면 해당 상품과 관련된 다른 상품의 용도로 링크되도록 하고, 아이콘 이미지를 짧게 터치하면 쿠폰의 상세정보로 링크되도록 하는 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리방법.
- 인터넷을 통하여 이동통신단말기와 접속되어 이동통신단말기와 동기화를 통해 이동통신단말기에 저장된 쿠폰정보를 송수신하고, 이동통신단말기를 통해 쿠폰의 교환, 양도 또는 양수를 위한 웹사이트를 제공하며, 유선망과 연결된 윈도우즈 기반의 단말기들과 무선망을 접근하는 모바일 환경의 단말기들의 데이터 처리를 수행하는 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버;상기 이동통신단말기의 정보나 사용자 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 사용자DB;상기 이동통신단말기의 쿠폰정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 쿠폰DB;상기 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버에 연결되어 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버를 통해 각종 쿠폰 발행업체의 이벤트광고에 관한 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 이벤트광고모듈;상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장 및 관리하고 있는 쿠폰의 교환, 양도 및 양수가 이루어진 쿠폰에 관한 정보를 저장하고 저장된 정보를 유무선 통합 어플리케이션 서버로 입출력하는 쿠폰교환모듈;상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장 및 관리하는 쿠폰 정보에 따라 이동통신단말기의 현재위치와 쿠폰 발행업체에 관한 위치정보를 이동통신단말기에 지도정보와 함께 제공하는 위치정보제공모듈; 및상기 이동통신단말기에 변환된 형태로 저장 및 관리하는 쿠폰을 사용이 가능한 쿠폰으로 코드를 부여하는 코드부여모듈을 포함하여 이루어진 이동통신단말기를 이용한 쿠폰 통합 관리시스템.
