Abstract

 MASSAGES

The present invention relates to a device for heating a composition usable for the massage of the human body and also relates to such a composition.

The compositions proposed for the massages come in different forms. It is more particularly oils, creams or waxes.

 These compositions are generally applied at room temperature in relatively thin layers. To facilitate the massage work and to ensure satisfactory penetration of the products, it is common, before the application, to heat the container which contains them, for example by means of a candle or a micro-type heater. wave, oven or other.

 Obtaining a suitable composition throughout the duration of the application often faces problems including fluidity and temperature. Indeed, the heated composition cools quickly at the simple touch of the skin and it quickly becomes difficult to apply. If the heating is too important, the risk of burning the patient is not negligible and must absolutely be avoided. Conversely, in the case of insufficient heating, the massage becomes unpleasant due in particular to the poor quality of the film obtained.

 Another problem is that of the desired lubricating effect which currently leads to the use of compositions containing oils and other compositions derived from petroleum products, such as petroleum jelly or the like, to improve the effect of sliding on the skin. However, these products are not heat transferable.

 There is therefore a need for heating means to maintain the desired temperature throughout the duration of a massage and heat transfer products and lubricating effect.

The investigations carried out in this respect and which led to the present invention are based on the realization of heating means ensuring contact precise between the heating portion and the heated portion and thus controlling the heating of the compositions used.

The invention therefore aims to provide a device for solving the problems mentioned above and to provide compositions that can be easily brought to the required temperature and maintained at this temperature to ensure a constant massage quality.

It also aims new compositions particularly suitable for massage of high quality, which can be heated or heated using such a device while ensuring the gliding effect.

The heating device of a composition that can be used in massage according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a body and at least one housing provided in the body capable of inserting a container containing a composition that can be used for a massage. , including housing

 Advantageously, the body comprises at least two housings, a control device integrated in the body allowing adjustment of a heating power if necessary different for each housing.

 At least one housing may include an appendage extending inwardly of the housing and cooperating with a groove provided in the lower part of the container.

The container introduced into the housing of the device defined above advantageously comprises a composition essentially based on at least a mineral oil and at least one vegetable oil, with optional additives such as essential oils and / or aromatic substances.

The device comprises a base 1 having two parallel surfaces 2, 3 connected by a curved lateral surface 4.

 The first parallel surface 2 is in the lower part of the base while the second parallel surface 3 is in the upper part of the base.

The second parallel surface is pierced with five orifices 5 whose openings 6 are substantially circular. Each orifice 5 has a frustoconical side wall 7 and a bottom 8 comprising a convex central portion 9. The side wall of the cone forms an angle of approximately 5 ° with the vertical. The inner wall of each orifice 5 is further coated with a jacket 10 about 1.5 mm thick. In addition, the device D also comprises a heating means, not visible, for transmitting a quantity of heat to each of the orifices 5. The heating means may be unique for the different orifices 5 or, alternatively, each orifice 5 may have its own heating means. This variant has the advantage of being able to make different adjustments for each orifice 5. At the front, at the side wall of the device D, a control panel 11 is provided for controlling the heating means (s) and, optionally, to control the temperature obtained, and this whatever the level of filling.

As shown in particular in Figure 3, the container R has the shape of a double cone and comprises an upper portion and a lower portion, the lower portion comprising a conical side wall adapted to cooperate with the side wall of a housing of the body allowing a surface contact between the lower part of the container and the housing.

The heating device of the invention is advantageously used for heating a massage composition based on one or more mineral oils and / or one or more vegetable oils, in particular oils capable of nourishing and moisturizing skin, with optional additives such as essential oils and aromatic substances.

Advantageously, such a composition is a coolant and lubricating effect as desired for the intended application.

A suitable composition comprises, relative to the total weight of the composition, from 50 to 70% of mineral oil (s) and from 50 to 30% of vegetable oil (s).

Mineral oils, known as gliding oils, are chosen in particular for a fluid or thick petroleum jelly or a fluid or thick paraffin oil; or a fatty substance such as beeswax, shea butter or soy wax.

These oils do not conserve calories and are therefore mixed with vegetable oils, fluids or thick. Suitable oils include sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, walnut, sesame oil, jojoba oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, argan oil, or others. These oils are calorigenic.

As indicated above, one or more additives of interest, such as essential oils and / or aromatic substances, is (are) advantageously incorporated (s) to the base oils.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the massage oil composition may also comprise esters of caprylate / glycerol caporate or isopropyl myristate type.

This or these ingredients may be present at a rate of 20 to 60%. As an example of a massage oil composition forming a waterproofing product, there will be mentioned a composition containing as vegetable oils, 5% jojoba or argan oil, 20% sunflower oil and 5% olive oil.

Other compositions of interest correspond to the formulations of compositions A and B given as non-limiting examples:
