Abstract

A synergistic biological material combination useful for exerting antagonism against vegetable pathogens is disclosed, which comprises a Bacillus strain, preferably a Bacillus subtilis strain, more preferably a Bacillus subtilis B23 deposited under # NCAIM (P) B001390 according to the Budapest Treaty or a Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain, more preferably a Bacillus amyloliquefaciens B83 strain deposited under # NCAIM (P) B 001391 according to the Budapest Treaty, and a bacterium-predator bacterium strain, preferably a Peredibacter starrii X13 strain deposited under # NCAIM (P) B 001388 according to the Budapest Treaty, and optionally an excipient. The biological material according to the invention is an antagonist against the pathogens of vegetables. The invention further relates to a process for controlling vegetable pathogens, and the use of the composition according to the invention for the protection of vegetables.˙
