Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour accroître la température de gaz de gueulard produit dans un haut-fourneau (1) à la tête (5) de haut-fourneau et évacué du haut-fourneau (1) par des conduites montantes (6). Le gaz de gueulard à la tête (5) de haut-fourneau et/ou dans les conduites montantes (6) est mélangé avec des gaz de combustion provenant d'au moins un brûleur (11) appliqué à la tête (5) de haut-fourneau et/ou aux conduites montantes (6). Les gaz de combustion présentent une température plus élevée que le gaz de gueulard. Un autre objet de l'invention est un haut-fourneau (1) comprenant une tête (5) de haut-fourneau et des conduites montantes (6) pour évacuer le gaz de gueulard de la tête (5) de haut-fourneau, au moins un brûleur (11) dont les gaz de combustion sont mélangés avec le gaz de gueulard à la tête (5) de haut-fourneau et/ou dans les conduites montantes (6) étant présent à la tête (5) de haut-fourneau et/ou dans les conduites montantes (6).
