Abstract

본 발명의 케이블형 이차전지는 그 길이 방향에 직교하는 단면이 원형, 타원 또는 다각형 형태의 집전체 표면에 전극 활물질이 도포된 가늘고 길게 각각 구성된 제1 극성 전극과 제2 극성 전극, 및 상기 제1 극성 전극과 상기 제2 극성 전극 사이에 개재된 분리막 또는 전해질층을 포함하는 전극 조립체; 및 상기 전극 조립체를 감쌀 수 있는 커버부재를 구비하며, 상기 케이블형 이차전지의 끝단에, 상기 제1 극성 전극과 연결되는 제1 극성단자와 제2 극성 전극과 연결되는 제2 극성 단자를 구비하며, 상기 제1 극성단자와 상기 제2 극성단자를 고정시키며, 상기 끝단을 감싸는 하우징 캡을 구비한다.
