Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Kraftwerks mit einem Dampferzeuger, der mit festen fossilen Brennstoffen, beispielsweise Steinkohle oder Braunkohle, befeuert wird. Das Verfahren umfasst die Wärmeauskoppelung aus dem Rauchgas des Dampferzeugers in Strömungsrichtung des Rauchgases hinter einer Einrichtung zur Verbrennungsluftvorwärmung, wobei die aus dem Rauchgasstrom ausgekoppelte Wärme zur Trocknung von Braunkohle genutzt wird. Die erhaltene Trockenbraunkohle wird vorzugsweise als Produkt aus dem Verfahren abgezogen bzw. mit einem Anteil von weniger als 50 % in dem betreffenden Dampferzeuger energetisch umgesetzt.
