Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé d'acquisition et de transmission de signaux EMG utérins, un module de traitement de signal traitant des signaux EMG utérins entrants qui proviennent d'une patiente et réalisant la transmission sans fil d'un signal traité à un dispositif de relai d'informations. Ledit dispositif de relai d'informations est configuré pour télécharger le signal traité et transmettre ledit signal à un centre d'appel ou à un établissement de soin de santé pour permettre son évaluation par un médecin. Ledit système est ambulatoire, ce qui permet à la patiente d'enregistrer et de transmettre des signaux EMG utérins lorsqu'une transmission satisfaisante peut être réalisée. En outre, l'invention porte sur un système et un procédé d'utilisation de l'électromyographie dans la surveillance et le diagnostic de la rupture utérine. Les signaux électriques entrants provenant des fibres musculaires du segment utérin inférieur montrent un signal atténué lorsque le segment utérin inférieur s'amincit et se sépare durant le processus de dilatation et d'effacement du travail, ce qui permet d'identifier les patientes courant un risque accru de rupture.
