Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for collecting sunlight using a reflector. To this end, the present invention is enabled to: produce hot water in an energy-saving manner by reflecting, at a desired angle, the sunlight received through the reflector which has a plurality of reflective cells having reflective angles adjustable in left, right, top, and bottom directions according to the location of the sunlight, collecting the sunlight using a light collection plate, and changing the cold water, provided from the outside, to hot water by using the collected and reflected light; and remarkably reduce the energy consumption for producing hot water by using auxiliary hot water production equipment in combination with a hot water system having a hot water storage tank such as off-peak electricity, petroleum, and gas boilers and the like in conventional dwellings.
