Abstract

L'invention concerne une raquette de tennis de table formée de manière à comporter un support pour le pouce faisant saillie latéralement à partir du manche, ce support étant destiné à accueillir le pouce d'un joueur tenant la raquette. Ce support pour pouce présente une section en forme de U dans laquelle l'articulation interphalangienne du pouce repose lorsque le joueur tient la raquette. Le support pour pouce peut comporter une autre section pour accueillir l'extrémité du pouce du joueur, ainsi qu'une lèvre destinée à empêcher que le pouce du joueur ne glisse vers l'avant. Ledit support pour pouce peut être conçu de manière à pouvoir pivoter par rapport au manche de la raquette, et des moyens peuvent en outre être prévus pour forcer le pouce à se placer dans sa position d'origine.
