Abstract

L'invention porte sur des indicateurs de confirmation de traitement de décontamination d'agents de guerre chimiques/biologiques. La présente invention concerne des indicateurs de confirmation que le traitement de décontamination de surfaces qui ont été exposées à des agents de guerre biologiques et/ou chimiques a été achevé de façon réussie. L'indicateur chimique fournit une indication visuelle qu'un processus de décontamination consistant en une vapeur d'oxydant fort et un gaz alcalin s'est produit. L'indicateur comprend un substrat de base et au moins une pièce d'un premier colorant appliqué au substrat de base. Ledit colorant est initialement coloré et est sensible à l'attaque nucléophile par un nucléophile, à la suite de laquelle le colorant devient sans couleur, mais n'est pas affecté par un oxydant fort seul.
