Abstract

Es werden ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer porösen Keramik (1) umfassend Zirkonium-, Cer- und/oder Hafniumoxid sowie eine entsprechend hergestellte Keramik (1) angegeben. Dabei wird Zirkonium, Cer und/oder Hafnium gemeinsam mit wenigstens einem edleren Metall und mit wenigstens einem sauerstoffaffinen Element zu einer Schmelze aufgeschmolzen, die Schmelze unter Erstarrung abgekühlt, die erstarrte Schmelze einer inneren Oxidation unterzogen, wobei Zirkonium, Cer und/oder Hafnium sowie das mindestens eine sauerstoffaffine Element oxidieren, und abschließend das edlere Metall herausgelöst, so dass die poröse Keramik verbleibt.
