Abstract

Es wird eine Einrichtung zur Messung von Winkel und Winkelgeschwindigkeit oder Weg und Geschwindigkeit eines sich bewegenden Teiles beschrieben. Die Einrichtung besitzt einen stationär anordbaren oder angeordneten Sensor und einen am sich bewegenden Teil anordbaren oder angeordneten Encoder, der gemeinsam mit dem Sensor ein vom Sensor zu demodulierendes Modulationssignal erzeugt. Der Encoder besitzt für die für die Winkelgeschwindigkeits/Geschwindigkeitsmessung erforderliche Frequenzmessung eine ein periodisches Muster wiedergebende Struktur, die durch mindestens einen Indexbereich für die Winkel/Wegmessung unterbrochen ist. Im Indexbereich weist der Encoder ein Ersatzmuster auf, das sich vom periodischen Muster durch mindestens eine vom Sensor erfassbare physikalische Größe unterscheidet, jedoch eine die Frequenzmessung auch im Indexbereich ermöglichende Struktur besitzt.
