Abstract

A mucking module, for use with a hopper (36), which includes a conveyor beam (62A) which overlies the hopper (36), the conveyor beam including formations (85) whereby the conveyor beam can be supported on the hopper and idlers (66) for supporting part of a load- carrying conveyor belt (44), a plurality of downwardly extending legs (76, 78, 80, 82) engaged with the conveyor beam (62A) and wherein the legs are extensible into contact with ground adjacent the hopper (36) thereby to elevate the conveyor beam (62A) and so allow the hopper (36) to move independently of the conveyor beam (62A).
