Abstract

Un papier support d'abrasif imprégné fabriqué à partir de fibres et présentant un grammage de 110 à 360 g/m2 est partiellement encollé au moyen d'un produit d'encollage synthétique. Le produit d'encollage est ajouté en une quantité de 0,5 % à 3,0 %, ramenée aux fibres sèches, de façon que le papier support d'abrasif présente une hauteur d'ascension capillaire de 2 à 70 mm dans le sens longitudinal. Le papier support d'abrasif possède un indice de résistance à la traction dans le sens longitudinal de 2,0 à 7,0 MNm/kg et un module d'élasticité dans le sens longitudinal de 2000 à 5500 MPa.
