Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for locking an electrical plug for a motor vehicle, which electrical plug can be plugged into a plug socket which is arranged on the vehicle and/or on a charging post and has at least one latching receptacle, and the electrical plug has a latching means which can be operated by the user and which forms a latching connection with the latching receptacles in the plug socket when the electrical plug is in the plugged-in state, in order to hold the electrical plug in its predetermined position, wherein the latching means can be blocked by a locking element, which can be driven, when the electrical plug is in the plugged-in state in the plug socket.
