  • the arm 17 will delimit therein a starting section 3' of the sludge feeding conduit 3, which will house both the first crusher device 9 and the first screw 14.
  • the arm 17 will be connected at its second longitudinal end 20 to an extrusion head 21 , more clearly shown in Fig. 8, which has a structure 22 for containing and supporting the second crusher device 10 and extrusion means 7.
  • the containing and supporting structure 22 will comprise a tubular cylindrical jacket 23 communicating with the starting section 3' of the conduit 3 to define its final section 3", with the outlet 5 for the crushed and extruded sludge.
  • the final section 3" of the conduit 3 extends in a substantially vertical second longitudinal direction L 2 orthogonal to the first longitudinal direction L
  • the cylindrical jacket 23 will house a second feeding screw 24 having a shaft 25 connected to a second electric motor 26 to rotate about a substantially vertical second axis of rotation Y parallel to the second longitudinal direction L 2 .
  • the second screw 24 will have a first axial end 24' facing the first screw 14, particularly its end 14', to receive the crushed sludge therefrom and push it downwards toward the second crusher device 10.
  • the second screw 24 will be a variable pitch screw, for further sludge compression as sludge is being fed, at the second crusher device 10.
  • the latter will comprise a hub 27 which is integral with the shaft 25 of the second screw 24, at a second axial end 24" thereof, to rotate therewith about the second axis of rotation Y and has a lower end equipped with a plurality of chipping elements 28.
  • the chipping elements 28 will be blades and each of them will include a blade 29 that radially extends from the substantially cylindrical hub and has cutting edges 30 extending in a plane substantially orthogonal to the second axis of rotation Y.
  • the chipping elements 28 will include each a sludge grinding roller 31 integral with the hub 27 and idling about a respective substantially radial and horizontal third axis W.

  • the dies 36, 38 will be substantially similar, with passages 37, 40 a few millimeters in diameter, such that one of them may be used while the other is being cleaned, thereby avoiding downtimes and substantially increasing the throughput of the apparatus.
  • the extrusion dies 36, 38 may have a plate 39 adjacent thereto, having a discharge passage 41 whose diameter is substantially similar to that of the outlet 5, and designed for use in emergency conditions for free sludge discharge.
  • both the dies 36, 38 and the discharge plate 39 will be fixed to a die slide 42, which slides below the cylindrical jacket 23 along substantially transverse guides 43 to be selectively moved, upon actuation of a hydraulic cylinder 49, to the crusher device 1 1 located at the outlet 5 of the conduit 3.
  • the extrusion means 7 may also comprise a cleaning device 44, for cleaning the extrusion dies 36, 38, as shown in greater detail in Figs. 15 and 16.
  • the cleaning device 44 will be mounted integral with the jacket 23 to act upon one of the dies 36, 38 arranged in a non-operating position, and allows the other of the dies 36, 38 to be moved to the work position. Thus, the apparatus 1 shall not be stopped for cleaning of the dies 36, 38.
  • the cleaning device 44 may include a cylinder 45 that slidably receives a piston 46 having a plurality of pointed elements 47 at its lower end, such as needles or nails, for penetrating the passages 37, 40 of the dies
  • the cleaning device 44 may also include a conduit 50 connected to water supply means, not shown, and connected to the nailed piston 46 for simultaneously removing the residues built up in the extrusion passages 37, 40 by the combined mechanical actions of the piston 46 and water.

Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil d'extrusion destiné au traitement de boues publiques, industrielles et/ou animales comprenant une armature porteuse (2) possédant un conduit d'alimentation (3) doté d'une entrée (4) destinée aux boues à traiter et d'une sortie (5) destinée aux boues traitées, un moyen (6) destiné à acheminer les boues de l'entrée (4) vers la sortie (5) du conduit (3), un moyen d'extrusion (7) destiné à extruder les boues en une pluralité d'éléments extrudés sensiblement en forme de fil par l'intermédiaire de la sortie (5), un moyen d'écrasement de boues (8), qui est logé dans le conduit (3) en amont du moyen d'extrusion (7) pour réduire leur taille de particule d'une valeur de départ maximale à une valeur finale minimale, ce qui permet d'empêcher la formation de morceaux de boues compactés.
