Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de purification d'eau ainsi que sur une usine de purification d'eau. Dans un procédé au moyen duquel sensiblement n'importe quelle forme d'eau polluée peut être purifiée et transformée en eau potable, l'eau à purifier est soumise successivement aux traitements suivants : ultrafiltration, traitement aux rayons ultraviolets, micro-aération, traitement par du charbon actif et osmose inverse, l'ordre des deux dernières étapes étant interchangeable, traitement prolongé aux rayons ultraviolets, minéralisation et micro-aération prolongée. Il s'est avéré que soumettre deux fois l'eau à un traitement aux rayons ultraviolets conduit à un degré très élevé de purification d'eau. Après que l'eau a été soumise aux six premiers traitements parmi les traitements ci-dessus, elle devient trop pure à boire. Il en résulte qu'une minéralisation de l'eau est nécessaire pour la rendre potable. Pour neutraliser l'odeur, la couleur et le goût que l'eau peut avoir obtenu après minéralisation, l'eau est ensuite soumise une fois de plus à un traitement de micro-aération.
