Definitions
- the inventor identified an explicit need to offer to the military forces, policemen(women), public and private security a tool with non-lethal nature, which may inhibit aggressive actions from individuals, acting by themselves or amidst the crowd, where such product adds value from the ecological standpoint, in a way it does not generate residual material, for its manufacture and utilization, thus preserving the environment.
- the condition of volatility and possible combustion of the immobilizer spray is essentially alarming when it is applied in a closed place, which does not allow concluding that such condition of maintenance of the physical integrity of the agents involved (contention agent and aggressor) is less important when in open places.
- invention is provided with industrial applicability, is economically viable and, therefore, meets the strictness of the requirements of patentability, especially as a patent of invention, according to what was disposed by the dictates of the articles 8 and 13 of the Law No. 9.279.
- the non-lethal weapons are represented by a broad portfolio of solutions, among which we highlight the water jet, rubber bullets, flash bombs, teargas bombs, pepper sprays, electroshock batons, truncheons, among others.
- Those solutions despite meeting their main function, that is promoting dispersal and controlling disturbances, are not totally efficient, specially because they do not allow an effective and definite action of immobilization or demobilization of the individuals in a position of confrontation, where the practical experience reveals that the individuals, even when submitted to the strictness in this kind of non-lethal weapon, stay, anyhow, with the attitudes of confrontation.
- immobilizer spray to solve the problem of restriction of the effective action of the military contingent, as well as to assure their physical integrity and of the individuals in a situation of aggressiveness, immobilizer sprays are broadly used, and when they are sprinkled in individuals in an aggressive situation restricts their hostile action for a long period of time and, therefore, causes a big discomfort.
- the use of the immobilizer spray facilitates the military force
- the use of the immobilizer spray facilitates the military force
- the standpoint of the individual in aggressive situation starts to rethink his/her action in operations which generate civil disturbance and even individual actions of robbery and/or theft, for example, being a discouraging agent of this kind of action.
- the action causes temporary or even permanent lesions, especially when conventional spray jets are used, which, when used in closed places or with elderly, children and disabled people, affect everyone, generating thus the same symptoms for the aggressors and the ones not involved.
- the plaintiff aware of the gap existing for the current offer of the conventional immobilizer spray, developed an inventive solution in the form of a "non-lethal and non-flammable biodegradable spray, provided with irritant agents for the sense of vision" which adds value because it allows to a military grouping or policemen(women) and public or private security 15 to choose the Best alternative of application of the spray in agreement with the specific aggressive situation classified as of eminent danger or even high danger.
- the "non-lethal and nonflammable biodegradable spray provided with irritant agents for the sense of vision" revealed is formed by the following options for specifications: a. A general formulation, allowing the spray to be classified as biodegradable, that is, which material in the sticky form, when discarded, does not harm the environment;
- a formulation of the new biodegradable immobilizer spray in which the individual in aggressive situation is controlled by the action of providing non- lethal irritation for the sense of vision, making the individual stop the aggressive action and escape;
- Figure .1a is a representation in illustrative view of an individual in an aggressive situation, who will be the target of the contention by the action of a biodegradable and non-flammable immobilizer spray, showing possible point of application, according to the specific contention action;
- Figure .1 b is a representation in illustrative view of an aggressor in situation of immobilization, target of the action of a biodegradable and non-flammable immobilizer spray, evidencing the spray applied in his/her face, according to the specific contention action;
- Figure .2a is a representation in illustrative view of the application of the spray in the face of the individual in an aggressive situation, in several specific actions of contention; immediately before the spray reaches his/her face;
- Figure .2b is a representation in illustrative view of the application of the spray in the face of the individual in aggressive situation, in several specific actions of contention; during the deposition of the spray in his/her face; and
- Figure .2c is a representation in illustrative view of the application of the spray in the face of the individual in aggressive situation, in several specific actions of contention; with total adherence of the sticky spray in his/her face.
- a spray tube (1) containing immobilizer spray (2) may be applied to an individual (3), specifically in his/her face [P1], in a way to act in his/her eyes, in a non-lethal manner, generating a non-permanent irritation, immobilizing the individual when he/she is trying to contain with his/her hands the ocular irritation [2b] caused by the spray.
- the immobilizer spray such as shown through the figures 2a, 2b and 2c, respectively, where, through a package with a spray tube [1], the immobilizer spray [2] acts directly in the face of the individual [3], in a way that it covers a great part of the face, acting specifically in the ocular region, making the individual to close his/her eyes and try to contain the irritation with his/her hands.
- the choice of the preferred accomplishments of the immobilizer spray and object of claim in this title, described in this detailing topic of the invention is provided only as an example. Changes, modifications and variations may be accomplished for other ways of execution by those with ability without, however, diverge from the objective revealed in the plea of the present patent, which is exclusively defined by the attached claims.
