Abstract

The invention relates to a pipe connection by means of which two line or pipe parts (2, 3) of a pipeline conducting a preferably gaseous fluid can be tightly connected to each other, characterized in that a pipe connection-side end section (4) of one (2) of the two line or pipe parts (2, 3) which can be connected to each other has a circumferential first pipe wall expansion (5) which is arcuate in axial section, in that a pipe connection—side end section (9) of the other (3) of the two line or pipe parts (2, 3) which can be connected to each other has a second circumferential pipe wall expansion (10) which is arcuate in axial section, in that the second pipe wall expansion (10) is widened to such an extent that the first pipe wall expansion (5) can be inserted into the second pipe wall expansion (10), and in that the second pipe wall expansion (10) can be compressed or constricted when the first pipe wall expansion (5) is located therein such that the inner side thereof can be brought into sealing abutment against the outer side of the first pipe wall expansion (5) and such that the diameter thereof is smaller at the free end (11) than the largest diameter of the first pipe wall expansion (5). The invention solves the problem of providing a pipe connection by means of which two line or pipe parts of a pipeline conducting a gaseous fluid can be connected to each other in a sealing manner, the aforementioned problems no longer occurring.
