Abstract

L'invention concerne une source de lumière à batterie (5) pour des utilisations médicales, dotée d'une liaison (12) pour une fixation à la connexion du guide de lumière (4) d'un endoscope (1), d'un moyen d'éclairage (11) éclairant en direction de la liaison (12) et d'un ensemble de batteries (7) alimentant ce dernier, d'un interrupteur (13) interrompant un circuit de courant qui comprend le moyen d'éclairage (11) et l'ensemble de batteries (7) et d'un boîtier (6) enveloppant les composants (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) de la source de lumière à batterie (5). Ladite source de lumière à batterie est caractérisée en ce que l'ensemble de batteries (7) ne peut être retiré du boîtier (6) qu'en détruisant ce dernier et qu'il est raccordé au moyen d'éclairage (11) par une liaison durable qui ne peut être interrompue en fonctionnement, l'interrupteur (13) étant réalisé pour ne pouvoir être actionné qu'une fois.
