Abstract

The invention relates to a trap for capturing small species, including an internal cage intended to house the pest or specimen to be eliminated, in a clinically induced oestrus state, or pheromene-impregnated materials used to attract same. Feed is placed in the chamber to serve as bait. The trap includes an air inlet and an air outlet for releasing air from the chamber into the environment or directing same through tubes using motors. A ramp is provided below the air outlet inside the chamber and serves as an access slide, said outlet containing a non-return gate. In addition, a flexible tube is attached to the exterior of the chamber, providing access for the animal. The trap includes a side gate through which the prey can be removed.
