Abstract

Die Antriebsvorrichtung dient für eine Schneckenzentrifuge mit einer umlaufenden Trommel (12) und einer koaxial in dieser gelagerten Schnecke (16) sowie mit einem der Trommel (12) zugeordneten Antriebsmotor (18) und einem Schneckenmotor (28), der mit der Schneckenwelle (38) über ein Getriebe (36) gekoppelt ist, dessen Gehäuse (40) mit der Trommelantriebswelle (24) drehfest verbunden ist. Gemäß der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, dass das Gehäuse (40) des Getriebes (36) für den Antrieb der Schnecke (16) in einem Standgehäuse (44) drehbar gelagert ist und eine hohle Ausgangswelle (50) hat, die über eine Kupplung (52) mit der hohlen Trommelantriebswelle (24) verbunden ist.
