Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé et système pour l'installation et la mise à niveau de logiciel sur un terminal d'applications dans un réseau domestique. Le procédé et le système comprennent les étapes suivantes: la mise sous tension et l'accès à la passerelle domestique; la transmission automatique par la passerelle domestique d'une demande d'interrogation de logiciel au terminal d'applications, et le démarrage d'un chronomètre dans l'attente d'une réponse depuis le terminal d'applications; si aucune réponse n'est reçue à l'expiration du délai d'attente, la transmission par la passerelle domestique d'une demande d'installation de logiciel au terminal d'applications; si une réponse est reçue avant l'expiration du délai mais le numéro de version contenu dans la réponse indique une version antérieure de la version de logiciel, la transmission par la passerelle domestique d'une demande de mise à jour de logiciel au terminal d'applications; et la réalisation par le terminal d'applications d'une opération d'installation ou de mise à niveau de logiciel en fonction de l'entrée d'utilisateur. Selon la présente invention, l'état du logiciel sur le terminal d'applications est détecté automatiquement grâce à un protocole de communications privé dans le réseau domestique, et le réseau domestique transmet des données de logiciel au terminal d'applications nécessaires à l'installation ou la mise à niveau du logiciel sur le terminal d'applications dans le réseau domestique. Cela réduit la complexité dans l'utilisation du réseau domestique pour des utilisateurs, réduit le coût d'entretien pour les porteuses, et assure une meilleure expérience de réseau domestique pour les utilisateurs.
