Abstract

The present invention relates to a refrigeration appliance and a shelf device. The shelf device is fitted onto ribs provided on side walls of an inner shell of the refrigeration appliance, and comprises a shelf panel, a frame and a positioning member at each of opposite sides of the shelf panel. The frame has a first side and an opposite second side as well as a first end and an opposite second end. The surface of the second side is opposed to the side wall of the inner shell, and the surface of the second end is opposed to a rear wall of the inner shell. The first side of the frame has a first assembling portion which is in cooperation with the shelf panel. The second side of the frame has a second assembling portion which is in cooperation with the corresponding rib of the inner shell. The first end of the frame is provided with a first inserting portion, the positioning member comprises a snapping portion, the positioning member is inserted into the first inserting portion, and the snapping portion is snapped with the corresponding rib of the inner shell. In contrast with the prior art, the shelf device according to the present invention is fitted to the inner shell of the refrigeration appliance such that the shelf device does not shake and tip over easily.
