Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a tank for storing a liquid, comprising the steps of: placing a membrane (3), suitable for forming a sealed bag after being unfolded, on a surface forming a tank bottom; and simultaneously filling the inside (4) and the outside (5) of the membrane with a solid granular filler while gradually unfolding the sides of the bag in order to form the sides of the tank. The invention further relates to a buried, partially buried, or mounded tank characterised in that it comprises a membrane (3) and a solid filler inside and outside the tank.
