Abstract

A wiring device includes a device casing having a wire insertion hole defined on an outer surface thereof; and a terminal unit including a terminal plate for making contact with an electric wire inserted into the device casing through the wire insertion hole and a lock spring for gripping the electric wire between the lock spring and the terminal plate to prevent removal of the electric wire. The device casing further has a voltage checking hole through which the terminal plate or the lock spring is exposed.
