Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à générer des ultrasons focalisés à haute intensité (HIFU, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) comprenant : un boîtier, un transducteur à ultrasons disposé à l'intérieur du boîtier et générant des ultrasons de diagnostic ; et une pluralité de transducteurs HIFU disposés dans le boîtier et générant les ultrasons HIFU. L'appareil destiné à générer les ultrasons HIFU comprend le transducteur à ultrasons destiné à acquérir des images de diagnostic et les transducteurs HIFU destinés à générer des ultrasons HIFU pour le traitement et peut être remplacé lorsque les transducteurs HIFU, qui présentent une durée de vie relativement courte, ont atteint leur limite de vie utile sans avoir à remplacer le transducteur à ultrasons en utilisant des transducteurs HIFU présentant une structure séparable afin d'exécuter une fonction de diagnostic et d'améliorer en même temps l'efficacité économique.
