Abstract

The present invention relates to connecting structures for the perpendicular frames for furniture which include: a first frame that is hollow and has a coupling hole in the outer surface; a second frame that is perpendicular to the first frame so as to orient the front end thereof to the coupling hole of the first frame; a first connecting member fixed to the front end of the second frame and inserted in the first frame through the coupling hole, having a slope recessed from the outer surface thereof; and a second connecting member that is inserted into the first frame in the longitudinal direction thereof, and is coupled thereto having an allowable back-and-forth margin for movement wherein, when the second connecting member moves upward, the front end thereof pushes the slope to move the first connecting member forward, thereby bringing the second frame into tight contact with the first frame. Thus, long frames can be securely and coupled to each other perpendicularly without exposing a connection or coupler.
