Abstract

A field crop spray apparatus (1) comprises a carrier, at least one frame present at the bottom of the carrier and connected thereto, an elongated blade (3, 5) connected to the frame and running parallel to the carrier, and a sprayer (7). The field crop spray apparatus is intended to be mounted on an agricultural spray apparatus where the carrier extends at right angles to the direction of movement of the agricultural sprayer. The blade further includes extendible or folded-out wing tips (23) at each transverse end, which tips in collapsed or folded out state are pointing downwards during the spraying process so as to form a downward directed air curtain or form an emission screen in order to prevent spray liquid from being blown away sideways.
