Abstract

The invention relates to a crankshaft pulley for transmitting a torque between a crankshaft and a belt drive, with at least one free wheel and a gearing. The invention is distinguished in that the gearing in the crankshaft pulley is combined with a braking device outside the crankshaft pulley.
