Abstract

The invention relates to a trim tab (1) for watercraft, the inclinable tab (3) of which has stepped sections (2) comprising breaking edges (8) and upstream of said sections a breaking edge (8a) on the bracket (20). The active cylinder (5) is aided by a pneumatic spring (6) which can be locked and released in conjunction with the active cylinder (5). Underwater lamps (16) that are fixed on the downstream flow side have a spread angle (a-b-c) and said underwater lamps (16) have a metal housing which is connected to the tab (3) for dissipating waste heat.
