Abstract

The present invention relates to an electric toothbrush having a rotatable brush to which a dual-type brush is applied, for preventing damage of the gum for users who are awkward at brushing teeth or have difficulty moving, such as children or patients, and for allowing very clean tooth-brushing, including effective contaminant removal. By achieving the electric toothbrush having a novel form by means of applying the dual-type brush to allow ideal movement between the teeth and bristles, gum damage can be prevented, and contaminants remaining on the teeth can be more effectively removed, and also, provided is the electric toothbrush having the rotatable brush which can particularly enhance the operation function of a sub-brush by enabling a novel form of sub-brush support for moving along with a head and a handle, depending on the coupling of the head, when the head is coupled to the handle and simultaneously for securing stable support.
