- status indication information is displayed for three trial applications out of ten applications. That is, the expiration date 35 is displayed as additional display information, and the image 34 including additional display information on which available points are displayed is also displayed.
- an image 36 is also shown to indicate that the trial version, which is 0 times remaining in the trial version, is no longer available.
- the user may select and execute an application by referring to the status display information included in the trial application from the application list. You can also delete applications that you cannot use. When the user places the pointer on an application that the user cannot use, the delete menu 60 may be displayed.
- the image of the trial application is arranged together with the full version application in FIG. 10, it may be displayed separately.
- the trial application may preferentially place an image having a low expiration date or a number of times of use or imminent. That is, the video display device according to the present invention may rearrange the application list based on the state information.
- FIG. 11 is a flowchart illustrating a content management method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the image display device obtains at least one trial application from the application list.
- a trial application can be searched from an application list stored in the image display device.
- step S12 state information of the trial application is extracted.
- the state information may be obtained from a memory in which the trial application is stored, or requested and received from a distributor of the trial application.
- the trial application is displayed by adjusting transparency or additional information with respect to the application image based on the state information extracted in operation S143. In this case, the entire application list including the trial application may be displayed.
- the video display device and the content management method using the same according to the present invention are not limited to the configuration and method of the above-described embodiments. Or some may be selectively combined.
- the content management method of the video display device of the present invention can be implemented as a processor-readable code on a processor-readable recording medium provided in the video display device.
- the processor-readable recording medium includes all kinds of recording devices that store data that can be read by the processor. Examples of the processor-readable recording medium include ROM, RAM, CD-ROM, magnetic tape, floppy disk, optical data storage device, and the like, and may also be implemented in the form of a carrier wave such as transmission over the Internet. .
- the processor-readable recording medium can also be distributed over network coupled computer systems so that the processor-readable code is stored and executed in a distributed fashion.
