Abstract

L'invention porte sur une technique, qui comprend la décomposition d'un signal qui est dérivé à partir d'une acquisition sismique en une pluralité de signaux, de sorte que chaque signal soit associé à une bande de fréquences différente. Pour chaque signal de la pluralité de signaux, la technique comprend les étapes consistant à : décomposer le signal en sous-bandes dans des étapes successives, les sous-bandes étant associées à au moins différentes plages de fréquences du signal ; appliquer de façon sélective une atténuation de bruit adaptative entre les étapes successives, de sorte que les étapes décomposent des sous-bandes à bruit atténué ; et reconstruire le signal à partir des sous-bandes résultant de la décomposition. La technique comprend la combinaison des signaux reconstruits.
