Definitions
- the present invention is framed in the field of sports practice, more specifically in the practice of golf.
- the object of the invention consists of a "putter” type golf club that allows to practice the movement or “swing” that is performed with the “putt” on a golf course, including the possibility that the ball does not move.
- the putt is a very important blow that requires a lot of precision, in which you have to calculate very well the force and the direction with which the ball is going to hit.
- the stick with which this blow is made is the putter.
- the object of the invention is a putter head, or a putter complete with said head and the corresponding rod to which the head is fixed, which allow the practice of golf forcing to perform the appropriate movement in terms of orientation, location of the hit point and swing that must be carried out to perform a kick correctly.
- the putter head object of the invention has a specific adjustable structure that forces the correct movement when hitting since it has an adjustable width opening slightly wider than the diameter of the ball, to allow it to pass through a channel defined after the mouth that has an inclination with respect to the horizontal and has an inclined curved shape.
- the ball remains static and can have a totally spherical shape, normal on a golf ball, or the objective of the putter can have a semi-prismatic shape in which a spherical cap protrudes from a cubic prism of width equal to the diameter of the ball of golf.
- the putter object of the invention can be provided with a detachable strips that can be located either on the striking face of the putter's head or inside the channel through which the ball or target of the putter has to pass, where said plates allow adjustment of the width of the mouth or the path through which the ball will enter.
- the putter, or putter head, object of the invention is designed in such a way that the flush of the beating is coincident with the horizontal of the ground as well as aligning with the sweet spot of the correct beating at the kick, allowing the training of the swing, which is done with golf putters but with a step and an opening in its central part that allows the swing, which is usually done when kicking, but without hitting the ball. In other words, if the swing is done correctly, the putter will travel its ideal trajectory and the ball will remain static in its place.
- the dimensions of the opening and the passage can be varied by lateral plates, in order to facilitate or hinder the swing, without touching the ball.
- the object of the invention allows at least two embodiments:
- Figure 1a Shows a side view of the golf club head object of the invention.
- Figure 1 b.- Shows a front view of the golf club head object of the invention.
- Figure 1 - Shows an overhead view of the golf club head object of the invention.
- Figure 1d Shows a perspective view of the golf club head object of the invention where the striking reference object is also represented.
- Figure 2a Shows a front view of the front plate.
- Figure 2b.- Shows a perspective view of the front plate.
- Figure 3a Shows a front view of the side plate in its flat configuration.
- Figure 3b Shows a perspective view of the side plate in its flat configuration.
- Figure 4a Shows a front view of the plate the side plate in its "L” configuration.
- Figure 4b. Shows a perspective view of the side plate in its configuration in "L”.
- Figure 5. Shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the objective of the semi-prismatic putter in which a spherical cap protrudes from a cubic prism of width equal to the diameter of the golf ball.
- the golf practice device has a golf club head (1) having an anterior sector (2) having an opening (6) oriented inferiorly in a "U" shape. inverted, and a posterior sector (3) in which at least two lateral walls (4) parallel to each other are shown have their lower side inclined with respect to the anterior sector (2) with an upper side of the lateral walls (4) parallel to its lower side and which can be subsequently joined by its upper side by means of a connecting bridge (14); such that the appearance of said head is equal to that of a putter head or any other golf club but hollow and with the opening (6) and the side walls (4) that define a passage channel (5) that it is subsequently extended from the opening (6) with a width coinciding with that of the opening (6), which is slightly larger than the dimension of a striking reference object (7, 7 ').
- the clubhead (1) allows the ideal movement executed by the user to "kick" towards the hitting reference object (7, 7 '), it passes through the opening (6) and the channel (5) without the head (1) contacting said hitting reference object (7, 7') intended to act as a reference object during a striking movement like the one that is executed when playing golf and hitting a ball during the "kick".
- Said hitting reference object (7, 7 ') may be a golf ball (7) or it may have a shape defined by an upper sector of partially spherical configuration (7') and a lower sector provided with at least two flat faces parallel spaced a length coinciding with the diameter of a golf ball.
- the anterior sector (2) comprises two lateral extensions (8) and first fixing means (9), in at least one of the lateral extensions (8) or in the upper part of the opening (6), intended for allow the assembly of a golf club rod (10) by configuring a complete golf club in order to practice said sport; thus obtaining a putter.
- the device for practicing golf has in its previous sector (2) a front plate (1 1) for striking the opening (6) for an application of the head (1) of golf club as a normal hitting element equivalent to any conventional golf club head.
- Said plate is coupled by means of second fixing means (12), which can be found located around the opening (6), preferably defined in at least one front face of at least one of the lateral extensions (8).
- the device for practicing golf object of the invention has the second fixing means (12) in such a way that they have recesses (13) intended to house the front plate (11) of striking, in order to mount said frontal plate (11) of striking without protruding.
- the device for practicing golf object of the invention has removable and attachable side plates (15, 16) on the inner face of the side walls (4) allowing to modify the width of the channel (5) when coupling them, or on the lateral faces that delimit the opening (6) to modify the width of the opening (6) when coupling them, in this way it is allowed to modify the width of the channel (5) and / or the opening (6) thus being able to determine the difficulty of the practice of striking, the more difficult the narrower said widths are.
- the fixing means (9,12) may comprise screws with or without thread, pins, adhesives, such as removable double or single-sided adhesive strips, or magnetic means, such as cylindrical magnets.
