Abstract

Cette invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de traitement des boues et autres déchets naturels. Dans un exemple, les boues ou les déchets naturels peuvent être séchés à l'aide d'un gaz à haute température qui absorbe l'humidité contenue dans les boues et permet d'obtenir une poudre, ledit gaz à haute température devenant, ce faisant, un gaz au moins partiellement saturé. On peut faire passer ce gaz au moins partiellement saturé dans un épurateur avant de le chauffer dans un réchauffeur d'air et de l'utiliser dans le procédé d'absorption de l'humidité. La chaleur pour le réchauffeur d'air peut être fournie par un brûleur servant à brûler la poudre séchée obtenue à partir des boues. Le gaz chauffé peut être utilisé pour préchauffer le gaz saturé et peut être utilisé pour sécher des quantités supplémentaires de boues.
